The staff at check in were so polite, helpful, and inviting. We were even given some suggestions for places to eat and things to do during our stay in the surrounding area. The property was very neat and clean, very homey / relaxing. Parking was close and convenient. The pool was amazing and very well kept. We didn’t cook at the property but utilized all other amenities…

The staff knew it was my birthday and went out of their way to make it special...including leaving a surprise in the room. I was assigned a concierge who was available for questions and recommendations. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. An added bonus was the wine tasting on Friday afternoons. So, we started our weekend with a nice wine which we enjoyed in front of the lounge fireplace.

A SmartTV would have been nice as we wanted to cast something from our phones.

I liked EVERYTHING. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. The grounds clean & well kept. The room was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and every amenity you could think of. Definitely recommend!!

Small thing. Master bedroom fan cord could be a little longer. I’m super short so even standing on bed I was barely able to reach cord to turn down. I have a remote at home that helps with the height issue. Just a thought.

Lots of room. All the amenities we needed. Comfortable beds. Able to walk into Gruene. Great value for money - we booked it last minute.

location was minutes from Gruene Historic area and 10 minutes to downtown New Braunfels Size of 2 bedroom allowed for privacy if traveling with other guests
