This is the most amazing place we stayed in Portugal. A grand old, but modernized, home, Marta and Iker have created a welcoming, pleasant and restful place to explore and rejuvenate while on a tour of Portugal. Whether hiking mountain trails or just reading a book and listening to your playlist, this is the place. Breakfast is great. As an extra special item Iker is a chef and cooks up exquisite dinners. There are some good restaurants in the area too. This is a place where you can see and experience the real Portugal.

Didn't dislike anything!

Casa do Cabeço is a unique place. Beautiful and cozy place. We loved the countryside feel, the beautiful guillotine windows, the morning light entering the wood floored room, a lovely garden which we still have to see in spring... Dylan and Dexter's welcoming all well. The hosts were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist any need. Definitely stopping by again.

A b s o l u t e l y e v e r y t h i n g! You can feel the love of owners to everything here - house, guests, food and everything they do. The place is so nice we asked to stay longer, it is calm, has a lot of shade for hot days and things to do around. Absolute gem, best place we stayed during our 2 week trip in Portugal.

The home and the grounds were beautiful, located on a quiet and secluded lot. The hosts helped us feel very welcome and at home during our stay. The room was more than large enough for 2 people. The bathroom was very modern and I just loved the glass bottles the shampoo and body gel came in. You can tell they thought about the presentation of even the tiniest details. The breakfast was amazing! We would stay here again.

We've spent couple of wonderful days at Casa do Cabeço. Marta and Ikar are the dream hosts, they've made our stay just perfect. Everything inside and outside the house is impeccably clean and well managed. We enjoyed the calmness of the garden and the privacy and peace that this place provides. The breakfast is really good, big variety and Marta's pastry is just so good. And like a cherry on top of the cake, we've had a dinner made by Ikar. It was a great experience, absolutely delicious. Casa do Cabeço is a unique place.

Everything was perfect. If I could give 11 out of 10, I would.

We loved our stay at the Casa, the owners could not be any friendlier and accommodating. They are located on a quiet street, but you can reach everything by rental car. You can relax in the beautiful garden, enjoy THE BEST breakfast or ask the owners what's in the neighbourhood to see or to do. Slept like a baby, large room, and a large bathroom, could not have been better.

Nothing at all

We really found peace and quiet at Casa do Cabeco. Marta and Iker are the most warm and welcoming hosts we ever had. The personal greetings and many chats always filled us with joy. We loved the great energy and will absolutely miss this place. We would love to come back in the furure! The garden was very well maintained and loads of cozy seating areas are created all across, our favourite being the hammocks. It was always nice to be joined by the dogs Dexter and Dylan.

The staff and the building, old but properly kept - very pitoresc.

I understood exactly as it came out - the bathroom was not in the room (although for private use). Not a big issue considering the house, but nowadays we are used to always have the bathroom in the room.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful location. Marta and Iker are a lovely couple who will help you to make the most of your stay. The breakfast and snacks are delicious and you’ll have the privilege of meeting they’re adorable dogs, Dillon and Dexter

Iker and Marta welcomed us into their B&B and truly made us feel at home. They are kind and generous and provide an incomparable experience. So much so you feel welcomed as if you were family. Their property is truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was secluded and quiet and truly felt like an oasis in the country. The step gardens provide private enclaves where you can relax and enjoy the Portuguese countryside. The home is very well decorated and the beds and pillows are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Added bonus were Dylan and Dexter, the Irish and Scottish Setters, respectively, who snuggle up to you as if you were family.

Nothing, we loved it so much we shortened our stay in Porto to spend more time here.
