The pool was beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the Gins were marvelous. It was also a pleasure chatting with the hosts regarding the origins of the house, and they were very nice and gave us some tips about where to go and even lent us a guide of the area.

The breakfast hours could be a bit longer, it's only between 8:30 and 10:00 if I remember correctly.

Great views in a beautiful well restored building. Close to the quite but charming towns of Vouzela and Termas Sao Pedro Do Sol.

Could of had a mini fridge and a coffee machine for those that enjoy having an early cup of coffee in beautiful surroundings!

very nice breakfast! place is well located within few minutes (by car) from the town, in a very quiet surrounding, good for relaxing :-) nice swimming pool and relaxing chairs under the trees.

We loved the hotel which was in a beautifully renovated older building with lovely views. The pool was great and we enjoyed the bar and lounge areas.

Excelent service and staff & restoration of this old castle looks incredible!

Breakfasts could include vegetables such as tomato or cuecomber but foods quality was superb

The house is beautifully restored with amazing rooms. The owners are wonderful and friendly. It is themed on renowned Portuguese writers and it works well. The pool is fantastic and it is right next to the historical medieval Torre. Highly recommended! We can't wait to go back!! Tim and Sonia

It was quite a surprise, the space was very comfortable and cosy. Very nice decoration. It's near S. Pedro do Sul, so an excelente alternative to the hotels there. The surroundings are also more beautiful than i was expecting, in special the small city Vouzela and the tracking of the Rios e Levadas in Oliveira de Frades. And finally, a very warm welcome from our hosts

This is a well appointed boutique hotel in an architect designed renovated historical building in lovely surroundings. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean
