The Hotel was fine the staff was great, very professional service.i was probably stay here again but maybe on another floor.. overall good location

My stay there was horrible at night I mentioned it to the clerk upon check-out kids ran up abn down the hallway all night yelling . Playing and running outside of the room which very difficult to sleep. I smelled a familiar scent coming from down the hal someone was smoking.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a family of four during our visit to Destin. The location was perfect—just a 3-5 minute drive to Henderson Beach, which I highly recommend. For a small fee, you get access to a large parking lot, showers, and picnic areas. The hotel is conveniently next to a grocery store, a gas station, a beach shop with souvenirs and beach gear, and even a candy store. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the property was always kept clean, both inside and out. The breakfast offered a variety of options, and they changed the menu daily, which was a nice touch. One of the best features was the rooms, which felt so clean without carpet. Overall, I would definitely return and highly recommend it!

Everything was great.

Everything was great. All staff/cleaning crew were friendly. Rooms very clean and spacious. Pool and spa were nice. Coffee was always ready as I am an early riser. If you're looking for the beach, cut through Winn Dixie parking lot (2nd stop sign is a light). Left at light and go about 3 miles maybe, to scenic hwy 98 (something like that) it's at a light, turn right. Park anywhere (I asked), the is right there. Get there early as there is limited public space. I do recommend this hotel and if I ever go back, I will stay here.

My stay at Wyndham Destin was such a great experience. The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The property itself was very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. I especially appreciated the comfortable rooms and amenities that made it easy to relax and feel at home. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to help and make sure everything went smoothly. Overall, the combination of convenience, cleanliness, and quality service made my time at Wyndham Destin memorable and enjoyable.

We liked everything about the hotel except 1 thing. Loved the location. Easy to find and close to everything. Parking was good. Very easy to find a parking spot. Breakfast last 3 hrs and staff was friendly. Room was really spacious and felt cozy like a small apartment. Really enjoyed the stay.

The only thing we saw was that the furniture in the rooms are old and need to be updated. The walls need to be repainted. Everything was clean and nice although we can tell it hasnt been painted in a long time. Updating the furniture and paint will make this hotel would be perfect.

The customer service was awesome.

The cleanliness of the room could use some work. Spider webs had formed around the AC unit, hair from the pervious guest was on the shower wall. I had to take pictures and show the manager in order for it to be cleaned up. I had previously asked but returned with it looking the same. The rooms need to be deodorizer. There is a little smell. Lastly, we asked housekeeping to change out bed coverings because of a smell. Instead the bed was remade without removing the old covers. The next morning, my husband had to take all of the covers off of the bed himself.

The breakfast was very good. I had the eggs and sausage and breakfast potatoes. There was a wide variety of choices. Even though the hotel was very busy, we saw staff everywhere, working on keeping things clean and on hand to help or answer questions. The location was great, we walked to a couple of nearby shops. And was able to get to a public beach just a few minutes away by car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. We.had a great time and my children loved the pool.

We spent two nights with a total of seven people- 5 adults and 2 children and no one complained about anything! Except for when it was time to go home, we was having too much fun!

Every employee was welcoming and friendly. The ones who prepared breakfast worked very hard to keep everything clean and stocked. They made our mornings something to look forward to each day.

Our air conditioning unit went out the second night. We woke up to loud banging randomly throughout the night. We contacted the front desk before we left the next morning asking them to fix it before we returned. When we returned, it was doing the same thing. No one came to check it. We went back to the front desk and she tried her best to fix the problem. It worked one night and when we returned, it was acting up again. We went back to the front desk and asked again for them to fix it. It was replaced the next day and were able to sleep through our last night in peace and comfort.

From the beginning of our stay at the Wingate by Wydham Destin, FL. The first thing I enjoyed upon arrival is when it was stated there are no pets allowed....they meant it and I and my family really appreciate that. This is the main reason why myself and wife will be returning in Sept or Oct of this year, Thank you to the Management and the entire staff for sticking to your policy. Everyone here is exceptional! Joana at the front desk was so helpful and friendy with informing us of where to take in the best fire works and beach for the next day. The housekkeping staff were some of the most hospitable people I've seen in a very long time at any establishment, myself and one of the guys were rocking out to 80's station on his radio while in the elevator. The beds were so comfortable and the room, bathroom, t.v all were very accomadating. After a day in the sun and eating the a/c unit was on point because it was boiling hot in Destin. OMG, the breakfast attendants were so cordial and dedicated to making eveyone feel welcome. One of the female attendants need to have a comedy special she was entertaning while we conversated...im getting breakfast while she kept the hot food coming and the buffet full. She also showed us where to sit in the overflow room for breakfast which was delicious!

I can't find anythng wrong with my visit.

The facility was quite nice and the location was great for our purposes. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with SO much variety. There was a day that I got the biscuits and gravy and the gravy tasted off so I made other choices and everything else tasted great! Really appreciated the coffee available in the lobby all the time and breakfast starting at 6:30!!! Staff was always helpful and readily available. Overall a great experience!
