We were on a motorcycle tour of the Pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Med. Eight hotels in all and this was by far our favourite. Every convenience was catered for, a wonderful restaurant, breakfast, room, and secure underground parking for the bikes. Ainsa is an amazing stopover, central to so many ride-outs, and we were here for four nights. The location is perfect, for a wander into the old town on the hill, with lots of local shops and restaurants. The room was clean, wonderful shower, and the view of the mountains was superb.

I cannot think of anything to complain about. Will definitely try to return someday.

Great hotel with super friendly staff who were really helpful on places to visit ( of which there are plenty locally). The restaurant is excellent with some good regional dishes and the air con in the bedroom worked well as it was quite hot during my visit. An added bonus is the secure underground parking for the motorcycle. Will certainly visit again !

Location and quality of food and service

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room with the large balcony and it was so nice. The bed was comfy and the air con was brilliant as it was very hot. The shower was amazing so powerful. Food was good you can either eat inside in the restaurant or outside in the bar. We only ate in the bar and the food was lovely. Burgers , salads, steak something for everyone.

The service was a bit slow even for Spain standards but I think thats because it was so busy. Could have done with a few more staff.

Great location beside the river and two restaurants to choose from. The slightly more formal restaurant opens at 8:30pm and the food is excellent. Did not have breakfast as we had to leave before the breakfast service began.

Not having the gate code before arrival made parking on site slightly complicated. Sending the code by email would sort the problem.

The staff are amazing. They all took time and effort to describe nice walks and were very friendly. The area around Ainsa is stunning. The hotel is near several car parks if you're driving. We ate one night in the hotel and it was quite nice but there are better places to eat. The room was comfortable with an enormous bed which didn't leave much room for anything else!

On he map the hotel appears to be right next to the old town but actually the old town is on a hill so there are quite a lot of steps to climb - we were there during a heat wave so that was quite an effort but well worth it. It's a lovely place and there are great places to eat and fantastic views.

Fantastic modern Hotel in the newer part of Ainsa but within easy walking distance to the old town, it took us about 15 minutes but be aware it is all uphill and up many steps. Good plentiful Breakfast, excellent food was also served all day/evening in the Bar with a separate Restaurant offering a full Menu! Room was big and comfortable. We were also able to park our Motorbike in their underground garage!

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Firstly the lady on reception was very friendly, spoke excellent English and took a great pleasure in showing us various routes to take for a motorcycle trip. She gave us advice and told us about the area which we appreciated. She was a credit to the company! (unfortunately we didn't get her name) The room itself had air conditioning and a lovely view over the lake with a very small balcony. We booked half-board and ate in the restaurant both evenings. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was beautiful and an added bonus was it was air-conditioned therefore we were not pestered with flies! The area itself has a medieval village a short walk away from the hotel which was beautiful and well worth a walk up the steps to visit it.

We used Hotel Sanchez as a base for 3 nights during a motorcycle tour of the Pyrenees. Rooms were clean and comfortable with pleasant balconies overlooking the river, there was an excellent bar and terrace with table service for drinks, breakfast was lovely with excellent food and coffee - well worth the 10 euro per day charge. Staff were helpful and there was a secure underground car park for the bikes. All in all, perfect for our needs and I would be happy to stay again

Very few negative comments, the restaurant in the evening looked a little formal for our tastes, so we chose to eat elsewhere, but this was simply a matter of personal preference.

The bar and restaurant were both very busy when we arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon but we were well looked after and settled in. Secure parking was under the Hotel in an easy accessible location. Two Golden Eagles came down to say hello, at least it felt that way. Dinner was excellent with attentive staff. Good location just below the Old Town.

Bed room was quite small.

Good location, friendly and helpful reception, reasonable value for money, reasonable facilities and good food and drink services.

There was a smell in the bathroom. In addition the room was a bit crowded with furniture - we moved a chair into the bathroom to make room for a Suitcase.
