The photos and reviews online are outdated. The outside doesn’t look too luxurious but the rooms themselves are on par with bigger chain hotels, paid $50/night which is a steal since we visited during a busy time of the year, during WCRE, we were pleasantly surprised with the room since we were expecting it to be old like the photos but it turned out to be more modern and up-to-date. If you are wanting a nice place to stay this is definitely worth checking out. Would come back again!!

Parking was a bit of an issue since it was first come first serve and I felt that there wasn’t enough spots for the amount of rooms they have.

The room was very clean and comfortable!

We went downstairs to the tavern and it was very dated and empty except for the room with the VLT’s where there were a few people. There were 6-8 large pool tables that were covered. The place really needs to be updated. Then we went to the restaurant next door and got some takeout food. Again it was very dated and the food that we got was not that good. The egg rolls were overcooked, very empty and the wontons didn’t taste fresh. I couldn’t believe that those two places were part of this hotel.

Stayed first week of December, 2023. My room was recently renovated so all the furniture, equipment, was brand new and all in working order. Renovation workmanship was excellent. Having 4 USB and 3 - 110 volt outlets by the work station was thoughtful and very much appreciated as well as 5G wifi. Although location is near major intersection and highway, noise was not an issue. No thermostat but not needed - very comfortable room temperature. Window AC/heater not needed. Memory foam mattress, bedding and pillow very comfortable. Booking through Booking.com was easy. Check-in only required vehicle info and signature; all other info were already completed. Checkout only required return of key. Fast, easy and convenient. Needed to leave facility sooner due to pending terrible weather and road conditions; easy refund for unused portion very much appreciated.

Some minor supplies and equipment were not part of the room furnishing such as tissue, hair drier, iron and ironing board (latter available upon asking).

Recently renovated, therefore everything was relatively new and everything worked. This is the second time I've stayed at Parklane because I think I receive the best value for my money in Medicine Hat and will stay there again, provided the rates remain reasonable.

The room that I had was renovated, however much of the lobby and hallway was not. I don't know the status of renovation on other parts of the motel. The workmanship of the renovation wasn't the best but satisfactory.

not knowing about the large hold on my credit card ahead of time. If you dont have 300 bucks on your card to hold for a damage deposit, this place is not for you

The room was very clean, recently renovated and fast reliable wi-fi. Excellent location also with easy access to hotel.

The front desk clerk had no manners and was obnoxious and rude. Would never stay at this hotel again even though the room was excellent because of the low-class staff there.

The price was amazing. We had a newly renovated room for an exceptionally low Black Friday price. It was clean,, roomy and comfortable. There were gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants close by and it was fast and easy to get back on the highway in the morning.

The materials used for renovations won’t stand up to time very well, but while we were there, it was a very very good budget stay.

I have stayed at the Park Lane many times over the past couple of decades because it is very economical and always enjoyed my stays. I stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms this last time and was very impressed with all the upgrades they have done. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. I have stayed in motels that charge much much more and not been anywhere nearly as comfortable.

I found everything very nice. No complaints at all.

The bed was hard at first, but we got used to it and was very comfortable.

There wasn't a plug for the bathtub, and the room needs more lighting. Perhaps the TV could be upgraded to a bigger one for the size of the room. But overalls, it's a good value for the money.

Omgoodness! We have never been to a hotel/Inn that clean. We usually clean our room before we use anything in it. We couldn't find any trace of dust on our cleaning papers. We would say the hotel staff is very conscientious. We salute the wonderful work.
