Conveniently located close to the highway. Very friendly and efficient check in process. Loved the little extras in the lobby with hot and cold water plus coffee available. Loved the chocolate chip cookies! Nice idea to offer DVDs to borrow. The room was a little cramped but it was an efficient use of space. In the shower, we liked the idea of using refillable shampoo and conditioner instead of one use packets. Breakfast choices were somewhat limited but considering the room rate, it was satisfactory.

Had difficulty with the AC. But aside from that, all was to our satisfaction.

Close to the highway. Dog friendly at no charge! They even have treats for them at the front desk. The room was small but contained everything you need - microwave, fridge, Keurig with coffee supplies, one tea pod. The armchair in the room was extremely comfortable. Nice to read in. The bed was very comfortable with the softest sheets I have ever felt. There used to be a full hot breakfast in the morning with scrambled eggs, sausages and hash browns; juices; variety of cereals and pastries. There was a coffee & tea station in the front lobby. I noticed children’s DVDs in the front lobby I assume for borrowing to entertain the kids. The staff were very friendly and sent a text awhile after we had checked in to ensure everything was ok with the room and to offer help 24/7 should it be required. Lots of parking.

Facilities, staff and location were great.

The constant barrage of emails (7) while we were on our way to this destination asking us to check in "Make sure to complete pre-arrival check-in" when time and internet access is precious was really annoying. I had a confirmed reservation and wanted to just check in when I got there like at every other hotel. I complained about this to the staff and they said they were "trying a new system". They had better ditch this system FAST!

Convenient, Quiet Location.

I did not like the Shampoo and Conditioner bottles hanging in the shower. EXTREMELY hard to squeeze. Definitely not a good option for seniors with little strength in their hands. When I was trying to squeeze the shampoo bottle, it needed so much force to squeeze that the bottle become dislodged and it almost cause me to fall out of the shower stall. I caught myself, but did hurt myself in the process. Sounds totally crazy I know, but I think it was due to the angle where the dispenser bottles were hung in the corner shower stall. I hurt my shoulder and arm muscle just trying to use the shampoo dispenser. I will not use it again. I feel you should look at moving the dispensers or getting bottles that would squeeze much easier so that such force is not needed.

Location convenient to the Trans-Canada highway. Effective blackout curtains. Clean and comfortable room with lots of towels in the bathroom. Good use of space, including a closet with lots of room for clothes and other items. Microwave and refrigerator behind doors, which eliminated any noise from the fridge. Complimentary buffet breakfast with hot and cold options.

The breakfast was very good. There were eggs, potatoes, and sausage and bacon for hot items. They had yogurt, muffins, cinnamon buns, toast and cereal. The food was very good and they had staff dedicated to making the breakfast and topping up items instead of the reception desk staff running in and out like other places we have stayed. The location is great for shopping - it is close to the Medicine Hat Mall as well as a big box area. It is a very quite location and the hotel itself is quiet at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

It would be nice to have an adult cereal for breakfast like muesli. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else - we really enjoyed our stay.

I did not use the breakfast,, it was my choice as I prefer to eat later on after driving about two hours or so. But it looked like the other people were injuring themselves. The whole building was very clean and the staff were outstanding and very friendly.

There was nothing I did not like or thought needed to be changed.

Easy access on and off the trans Canada when traveling. Nearby places to eat are within walking distance. Friendly staff.

The pillows were a bit too thick for my liking, but I travel with my own, so for me no issue.

The movies to borrow was a great way to entertain the kids. Location close to takeout supper was great. Staff were friendly and explained the inputs for the tv/video system clearly. Good location close to highway, too. Appreciated access to jam, peanut butter, and English muffins.

A little more selection at breakfast would have been great. I prefer access to syrup. Maybe waffles, too.

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, modern, comfortable, and far exceeded our expectations of an express hotel. The experience was genuinely great, and we will certainly stay with Home Inn Express when we are in town next.

I quite genuinely cannot come up with anything. Although expectations were already fairly high, as the location we visited was new, we could not have been happier with our experience.
