The breakfast was excellent and beautifully served. All the staff were exceptional in keeping the common areas clean and the beautiful courtyard with many charming antique design effects was wonderful to return to every night after a full day out. Our room was absolutely beautiful and was a great place to return to rest and recover from the busy ness outside. Even though there was a language difference, the staff were very willing to help with whatever was needed and with taxi drivers to take us places like Gobeklitepe. You could stay longer than three days here to observe and appreciate an entirely different culture in every day life, and see the children helping in many ways at he markets etc. I felt very safe here and found everyone hardworking and honest. The hotel staff were respected by the local people and business in the area and there was a great sense of cooperation is promoting local resources.

There was nothing not to like here. If it were possible, it would be great to have a lift to the upper level for ease of baggage and make it easier for staff but I don’t think it is possible as the design is antique and it works because the staff are so willing to help.

Our stay at Babil Antique Hotel, which beautifully reflects the historical spirit of Şanlıurfa, was absolutely wonderful. The hotel's stone architecture and thoughtfully decorated rooms made us feel as if we had stepped back in time. The rooms were very clean, especially the bed linens. Thanks to the warm hospitality and friendliness of the staff, we truly felt at home. Special thanks to Mr. Mehmet and his team for their exceptional attention. The breakfast was enriched with local delicacies and freshly prepared each morning. The hotel’s location—within walking distance of Balıklıgöl and the historic bazaar—made exploring the city very easy. Complimentary tea and coffee served in the courtyard were a lovely touch that we greatly appreciated.

As a small suggestion, having a bit more storage space in the rooms would improve comfort, and the towels were a bit worn. However, overall, our experience at Babil Antique Hotel was unforgettable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Şanlıurfa.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was small, but it was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a while! The breakfast included provided more than enough food for two and was delicious! Please note that the hotel will send you directions to the parking area. Follow them! We didn't and caused them a headache as we were trying to navigate the very narrow streets. They found us and carried our luggage while guiding us to the entry. There is a very pleasant courtyard in the hotel. The solitude is very calming. Note: If you can't climb stairs, please book a ground floor room. I'm sure you will enjoy comfortable accommodations in any room at this hotel. If I return to Urfa, I will stay here again!

It is a small, but very nice hotel, with very charming rooms. The building is very beautiful. We went in January, it was a bit cold, so we were very happy that the water and air heating worked properly. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is excellent! The location is good, near Balikgol, Archeological and Mosaic Museums, and the bazar. Using public transportation, you can go easily to Gobekli Tepe.

The bathroom of our room was a bit small. But everything worked properly. We stayed in a triple room. In spite of being a charming room, it was a bit small with few places to organize clothes and so on.

Stepping back in time. Centrally located in the old town, hidden from the streets. Narrow cobbled stone paths leading to it. Fabulous building with beautiful rooms, a private court yard and numerous roof terraces. Everything you need is catered for. Excellent Turkish breakfast. In walking distance of shops, restaurants, The Bazaar, tourist attractions and the museums. The best of this hotel, is the staff. Absolutely fantastic service. They are friendly and can’t do enough for you. This is really the best hospitality we’ve had in Turkey. Our luggage was fetched from the parking lot and driven by motorcycle to the hotel and back to the car on our departure. We will be back next year.

A lovely little hotel in the heart of the old town. All the sights are within walking distance, a great place to explore the city. The hotel is located in a historic building, but is quite comfortable. As a compliment - evening tea in the courtyard by the working fountain and a basket of fruit. The breakfast was excellent.

This is not a disadvantage, but rather a recommendation - the parking is not very close (300-400 m). The hotel staff helped us carry our suitcases from the car and then back to the car. It was nice!

Lovely, super cozy stone cellar room, with a bath! Breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Location is great, and staff extremely friendly. Our taxi dropped us off at another unrelated hotel that also had Babil in the name, when it became clear we were wrong, taxi had left and we started the 10 minute walk to the actual hotel, but apparently they called each other and we were met halfway by a staff member on a motorbike who transported our luggage for us :-)

lovely Hotel in Antique style just a short walk from the Grand Baazar, Balikligol, Urfa castle etc. Excellent local style freshly prepared breakfast (bakery just opposite!). Staff are really friendly and helpful. we drove to the hotel and the free car park was a short walk away but all our bags were transferred by the hotel so no stress there. great local knowledge about where to eat and what to see! The rooms are well equipped and aircontioned in tradtional style in keeping with the hotel , bathrooms and showers were modern and everything was very clean.. Loved it.

Excellent !!! I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The breakfast buffet was fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet at night. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended

Amazing hospitality and charming atmosphere. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff is incredibly friendly and always happy to assist, making the experience even more delightful. I must give special mention to the breakfast—it is, without question, the best Turkish breakfast I have ever had in my three years of living in Turkey. Truly an unforgettable culinary experience!
