Beautifull minimalistic architecture of buildings, pool, sitting areas, and fire place. The owner has designed the place himself. One of the very few places where the real thing is nicer than the pictures on the website. Very clean and very friendly staff. Poolside seating with a view of the pool, the valley and mountains. Good breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, mint tea, and fig bread. Toiletries. Two cute and friendly dogs. Feels like a safe place with free inside parking.

Pay for coffee pads if you use more than three per room per day. When we arrived the gate was closed and it was not clear how to enter. Turned out you need a remote control which you get when you have checked in.

The property was exceptional! The pool nice and cool. Perfect for a dip after a day out in the sun. The owner Felipe was very welcoming and accommodating. The staff, Lucero & Carla, went above and beyond with keeping the room clean and providing any necessary essentials. The property has two friendly black labradors as well. Everyone was really kind and friendly. Felipe had great tips on destinations for lunch, dinner, or any fun nightlife spots. I will definitely be coming back here again. My time was very relaxing and tranquil. I highly recommend Casa Michaus.

I had a fantastic stay at Casa Michaus. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the location was convenient. Communication with the staff was seamless, and their service was top-notch throughout my visit. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing – definitely a highlight of my stay. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Felipe takes care of your every needs. He has created an amazing place that you will never want to leave. The breakfast in the morning gives for the perfect start to the day. Then sit by the pool and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The location is in the heart of every so you you don’t need to go far to get to the best spots.Not to mention the sunset view is out of this world.

The hotel is so modern, minimalistic yet encompasses every essential you may need plus more. It is a very relaxing environment and exudes elegance and sophistication without trying too hard. Highly recommend you check out!

My friend and I stayed here during our trip to VDG. The location was amazing, I felt it was very centrally located to the places we wanted to go to. For your convenience, we visited La Justina, Castillo Ferrer, Decantos Vinicola, Cuarzo, Casa Frida, King & Queen Cantina, and Salvia Blanca Restaurant. We always felt safe here during our stay. The host is very friendly and pays attention to the smallest detail. I'm a sucker for sunsets and sunrises so during our stay, we woke up early to enjoy the sunrise. The view was breathtaking. I definitely recommend staying here during your trip to VDG.

There isn't anything that I didn't like about my stay at Casa Michaus. Everything was amazing. Please be aware that if you do choose to stay here, the entrance is on a dirt road so a bigger car like a truck is probably what I'd recommend. But a small car can make it in just fine as well. Also, a quick tip: when turning on the water to the shower, don't turn the lever all the way. It does take some time for the water to get warm if you turn it half way and keep it there.

The hosts were incredibly generous and accommodating. From the breakfast to the beautiful layout, to the wonderful dogs on the property, everything was perfect. The location is very central and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful property with warm fig bread and fresh fruit for breakfast. We loved hanging out with Solito and Maca (two black labs) on the property. We definitely hope to come back one day! Thank you Felipe!!

Casa de Michaus was a perfect spot to relax—just 1.5 hours from the border. We had cell service, and the Wi-Fi was fast. We also like two dogs welcoming us to their place.
