Das Bergmayr is the ideal spot whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with the whole family. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area, and as a guest you receive a special card with free activities – just because you’re staying here. The views are stunning, the air is fresh, and the atmosphere has an authentic Bavarian spirit. The guesthouse also has a restaurant with a modest but decent selection of dishes. Breakfast is included, and it’s a very generous and tasty one – definitely a big plus. You can rent a bike for 4 or 8 hours (€15 and €30 respectively). The staff is extremely friendly and speaks both German and English. The wellness area has two saunas and a pool. The saunas are quite small (max. 4 people), and the pool is 1.6 m deep with modest dimensions, but it’s perfect for cooling off after a sauna session. Our room had a TV. If you’re wondering about the difference between Comfort and Standard rooms: Comfort rooms are larger and perfect for families. Parking costs €5 per night, and they are not responsible if you can’t find a spot on the property – though they do have quite a few spaces available. We recommend this place to everyone, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Maybe I was a little disappointed about the price of the parking. It's the first time I pay for parking staying outside a city.

Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The room was cozy and well-equipped, offering us great comfort throughout our visit. We had booked a familyroom but got a whole appartment with 2 bedrooms, one with table and chairs to eat, bathroom and teakitchen (although the cook was switched off). It was great! The elevator did not reach the upper floor and was a bit scary

I loved the location, the facilities and the staff were so nice. We ate every night at the restaurant which was really lovely. The room was spacious and very clean. Gabriel in the restaurant was excellent.

The only criticism is that the curtains in the “children’s” room are too short and so anyone could see into the room if the light was on.

It was a very rainy weekend and there was no water kettle in the room.I got caught with some cold. Was bit uncomfortable not having some hot water at night when required. First time experiencing this from a hotel .

this hotel is nice, but it is too expensive value/ money. Small room over the 170E/ night is over. Normal price for this type of hotel I can about 100E/ night. BUT I know, that was main season and the hotel can make different action with prices...

Our family had a fantastic stay here. The buffet breakfast was amongst the best we've ever had!! We don't speak any German which might have made us feel embarrassed, but a particular member of staff (Norbert) could speak English fluently, and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Really beautiful location too with so many sights and attractions on our doorstep.

The location of the hotel was great - with a beautiful view opening from our balcony to the mountains. The hotel interior was simple and very beautiful. The hotel staff was very friendly. We really liked our stay at the hotel.

Very nice hotel, clean and spacious room with a lovely terrace. Breakfast was amazing. It had a lot of choices of different meals.

The hallway that led to our room was very hot because of the sauna that was at the end of the hallway.

The location was great. Very quiet and beautiful area. Good location for hiking and visiting Salzburg. Helpful personnel and great breakfast.
