We stayed one night in between our dive days and the dive shop is directly in the hotel area, which is great! It's the only opportunity to also see the bioluminescence if you do the 5 dives - 1 night package and we could swim with the bioluminescent plancton for free next to the hotel after our night dive and even use the dive masks to really see it well - definitely recommend that, in total it was absolutely worth spending the money to stay here!

Food could be served a little quicker and the price is a little high for the room we got. It's nice, basic and nothing dramatically wrong with it, but for this very expensive price we expected a little more.

We loved everything about this property!!!! I really feel that we chose the absolute best resort on the island. I cant say enough good things about this place. The pool and the stunning views were incredible. The room was clean and updated. The included breakfast was phenomenal! My husband appreciated that there was snorkeling from the shore with a great variety of fish to see. I really loved diving off the floating pier at the enchanted lagoon. We were able to swim at night with the bioluminescent plankton; it was sooooo awesome! The staff were all so nice to us. We want to give a special shout out to David who really made our stay fun! Oh, and having the dive shop on the property was definitely a plus. We booked a dive with them at the last minute - they even took some friends of ours too on an ‘into to scuba’ dive. We had a blast!!

Well, the menu was limited - but very good. After a few days you just want something different. We were able to walk to a neighboring resort restaurant for dinner and that was so fun! It helped make me realize how awesome our spot truly was. The island is wonderful and we will be back to the Cocoliso Resort!!!

Facilities were great, the staff was very kind, the resort is very well equipped for a comfortable and nice holiday, the views and location are amazing. Food was very nice and they offered free kayak and bioluminescent plankton which are both unforgettable experiences

Rooms were not the cleanest or best equipped, but I can imagine it is very hard to have everything in such a remote island. Although street vendors are not allowed, the natives offering the tourism activities also chase you to sell jewelry which is also a bit annoying.

The staff is super friendly (always present, fast service). The restaurant at the hotel was not that bad as other reviewers wrote. You can do a lot of activities free on the hotel (kayak, stand up paddle, billard, table tennis, swimminh in luminescens water). We chose the hotel because of the diving center which is located at the hotel (awesome for night dive and early morning wreck dive)

Apperently you cannot leave the hotel area. But you can access a road from the beach and walk around the island and buy in a little shop (snacks, beer, water) otherwise you have to consume everything at the hotel. Some parts of the hotel is under construction, but no noise or restriction for the hotel guests. Loud music at the pool A bit pricey

I was hesitant to stay here after reading some of the reviews but I am so glad we did. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the welcome drink was very appreciated and we had a lovely airconed room. We rented some snorkels and enjoyed swimming in the water. This place is ideal to relax in.

I would stay here again however simple improvements like covering the breakfast food so flies and birds could not take it would make the experience so much better. Food and drink is expensive but it is very nice.

The staff was absolutely amazing here! They were very attentive, asking when we would like to have dinner while we lounged at the pool and attempting to meet our every request. Even though not everyone spoke english, they always made it a point to make sure we got what we needed. We were lucky and stayed on a relatively quiet night, so we had the pool all to ourselves and the room was great (lots of space, proper AC, comfortable beds, no bug issues). My only regret is not staying longer to take advantage of some of the activities they offer (kayaking, diving, snorkeling, etc.).

The only suggestion I have is that since you cannot really eat anywhere else on the island (it's quiet empty besides the resorts, the town is very very small) it would be nice to have a slightly bigger or more variety menu for food options.

It's important to manage expectations when staying in a National Park. No roads or cars and everything has to be brought in by boat from Cartagena. Pool is fantastic. Room was good and the AC was positively arctic, but only in the bedroom. Not a bad thing, just leave the door open and the fan on in the front room. No hot water anywhere on the island so be ready for that, although it wasn't a negative because it was HOT and the water was refreshing. The food... OMG... the food was out of this world. The seafood pasta was divine and generous on the seafood for under $10. I'd take a 1 hour boat from CTG just for the food. If you are a diver, this is the place to stay as Diving Planet has their dive shop onsite.

The staff at the resort were incredible. They were so friendly and organised several snorkelling trips for us. They were very patient with us considering our lack of being able to speak much Spanish. All day I was aware that the staff were attentive to everyone's needs e.g. Asking if people wanted more refreshments around the pool. The staff also helped us book an alternative ferry at our check out after a mistake I made booking one originally. The food was also really good, there were a range of options and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Thank you to all of the staff at cocoliso for our lovely stay 😊

Nothing. The rooms are basic but I'd be surprised if you wanted to spend much time in your room on such a beautiful island.

- the rooms very pretty clean and big, there was enough space for our stuff - very quiet - super nice staff, very attentive - food and drinks were amazing, the breakfast incredible! - a lot to do on the property (pool, beach, kayak, scuba diving,….) - super clean!

- for the price they could put more modern facilities. the bathroom was quite old and used, a bit broken. it was fine for our stay, just price/quality doesn’t really match there - you can’t really get off the property to have a look by yourself on the island. as soon as you ask how you can walk around, they look at you as if you’d leave without paying what you owe the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at Cocoliso! I stayed here as part of a 2 day course with Diving Planet's Open Water certificate and it was wonderful to have the diving there onsite. It was my birthday and the staff at Cocoliso went above and beyond. They surprised me at dinner by setting up a table with a happy birthday sign and the chef made the most amazing dessert! I felt so cared for while there and felt they did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. all the staff are very friendly and warm from reception to housekeeping, everyone was amazing. The island is so beautiful, there's lots to do and just laying my the pool or on the side deck on the ocean is so relaxing. The AC in the room was great and the bed comfy. The diving was amazing! I'm planning a way to get back there already! Thank you to all who made my stay so wonderful!

Some areas are little dated, bathrooms could use a refresh but everything was clean and worked just fine.
