The hotel itself has a very nice atmosphere about it - it's somewhat rustic or retro, in a very nice and cozy way - wooden floors, small building, yet it feels modern where it should be. The parking lot is huge, so you'll have no problem finding a place, and it's easy to get to Düsseldorf from there. There are also some restaurants around, so you can get some food easily, if you're feeling peckish.

For me it was not a problem, as I'm a huge train fan, but from time to time there were loud trains passing by - so if you're sensitive to the noise at night, you should probably take some earplugs with you.

The personal was nice people. We had a problem with the invoice on the check out. They did their best but things didn't work. They were very polite, sent me the invoice few days later and handled the issue with professional way. Restaurants in walking distance was a great surprise! One of them had great beers as well! Very convenient to return late and be able to dinner in walking distance!

It was dead season, I'm sure in spring breakfast is a bit better. Not a real complaint but I think a bit better breakfast would fit to the overall picture of this hotel.

We liked that everything was modern and immaculate. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful.

There were no charging capabilities next to the bed. One of our rooms had vaulted ceilings, and the en-suite bathroom had a glass partition that did not reach the ceiling, so it offered very little privacy. You will hear each other’s bodily functions in this room, so you should be very comfortable with each other. We could also hear the trains all night.

It was lovely and felt like something out of a fairy tail movie with all the Christmas decorations out on show.

We arrive at 18:00 after a long drive from England. I wanted to put my bags away and enjoy a nice pint and some food here but there were no staff around for the whole evening.

The hotel was very clean and located very close to the airport as well as shops. The staff were very helpful.

There is no elevator. We also did not get hot water in the shower - perhaps because it was too early in the morning. Not sure.

My expected check in time was 9:30 pm and there was no one at reception to help us check in but they provided me with the instructions that where i can get my room key card and also the online check in option was really amazing it made my stay easy.

Pleasant room and good breakfast

There are a couple of minor things which could be improved but nothing major. Staff should keep their eyes open for little things that are not quite 100%.

good location, parking. there's no refrigerator in the room, but we asked to put our food into the refrigerator, so it wasn't a problem

too hot in the summer. There's been a weird bad smell from the kitchen.

Staff was very friendly and they welcomed my dog with a special touch! Room was spacious and the shower gel smell (artisanal I think) amazing! There were nice stores and restaurants around. Cute neighborhood.

Breakfast was good, with enough variety. All what we needed. The location is very close to the Messe Dusseldorf, which is ideal. Also there are enough restaurants in the area. The staff was super friendly and service was great!
