Fantastically warm welcome - lady on reception even remembered we had booked two years ago, even though Covid intervened. Excellent carpark at very cheap cost (50% of what we paid elsewhere in Germany) and our reserved space even had our name on the wall! Staff are all lovely - helpful, cheerful and helpful with any language difficulties. Very good breakfast selection served in comfortable and spacious room. Lift and walk-in shower helped we 'oldies'. Small but nice balcony to room. Excellent location so near city centre with good transport nearby. Lots of choice of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Good choice at breakfast. Very clean. Room cleaned every day. Mini bar prices very reasonable (although we did not use it!).

Nothing could be better for this small hotel, the only downside for us was that the location was quite a walk from the old town and main area. There was also some late night noise from the local bars and restaurants which the double glazing could not keep out. We could also hear the trams running all night, even though they are at the end of the street. Having said all this we would certainly return.

We were traveling by bicycle and the hotel meets the needs of cyclists. They have secure garage parking for bikes. The rooms were very spacious and each room had a fan (which was needed during the heatwave since there is no air conditioning). The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of fresh fruit along with bread, cereal, yogurt, eggs, meat and cheese. Gluten-free bread was available on request. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance in all directions from the hotel. Public transportation is two blocks away. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely room with a balcony which was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and powerful shower. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s taste. We reserved a parking space in the secure garage and our space was clearly marked with our name when we arrived. Quiet area with a choice of eating establishments close by. We would definitely stay here again.

There are no negatives from our perspective

We arrived by car and the receptionist assisted us with parking in the covered garage. We had reserved a place in advance. Decent size room, with small table/chair, desk, and armoire. Quiet neighborhood, many shops, restaurants, and 20 minute walk from city center. Excellent breakfast, complimentary sparkiling water, tea/coffee service in room.

The bathroom had little counter space for toiletries, small shower but pretty standard for German hotels of this caliber. The beds were two twins put together rather than one large bed. The hotel has an elevator ( also very small ) but unexpected. The interesting detail was that the elevator stops are between floors, so if you have difficulty with stairs that could be problematic.

Everything was perfectly organized up to the reserved parking, water for the windshields ready etc. Breakfast was very good. Location very good, walking distance from the centre and very near the metro and tram. Staff was friendly. Room was clean with good bathroom and minibar. Lows: no balcony and the lift stops at mid floors, which might be a problem for wheelchair users. Other than that it was excellent and also excellent value for money.

A very central location. The staff were very friendly. A quiet room despite being on the road. A few bars directly opposite offering a selection of local beers. A few meters from Nordstr. with lots more bars and restaurants. The breakfast was cooked locally and big selection of homemade jams.

All good. We only needed 1 night and the hotel fulfilled all our needs.

Always a friendly welcome, which is so lovely. Any special wishes they will fulfill if it is possible. The lovely personal touch, when on the 6. December two chocolate Santa Clauses stand in front of your door, which makes you smile. Breakfast buffet is absolute stunning and enjoyable Town Centre and Old Town easy to reach. Pempelfort is a lovely place with a great choice of shops and Restaurants

Nothing to complain

The staff was exceptionally friendly. Especially at the breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good. The rooms were nice, simple but sufficient for a short stay. The location was perfect.

The elevator didn't reach exactly the top floor so if your room is up there you'll have to carry your luggage half a floor up. We were traveling light so it was ok.

There is always a very friendly welcome. When possible, our room will be ready, even when we come before check-in time. Breakfast is the highlight of the day. The location of the hotel is great. Plenty of nice Restaurants to choose from. Just very enjoyable overall
