Perfectly clean and functional hotel well located for pleasant walks to nearby points of interest. There is easy access to public transportation (which we used from the airport), many great cafes/restaurants, bakery and groceries nearby. The staff at the desk (limited hours) was very helpful and friendly. Key pick up and entry was super easy. We could walk to river cruise embarkation in less than 20 minutes. The hotel itself is very quiet, good showers and comfy beds. We could book a room for each of us for 2 nights, to deal with jet lag after flying in from SFO, since the price was about the same or less than a single room at a "higher grade" hotel. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked very good.

Only downside was the noise of the streetcar and traffic when windows were open. During the warm season, you will need to open the windows as there isn't AC

The staff is really helpful and nice and were available for any questions and problems. Location is nice: walking distance to the river bank, shops, nice cafes and restaurants around. Parking is very convenient.

It was the funniest room I ever stayed in. I’m not a very clumsy person, but I was always hitting something in the toilet, passing between bed and the window 😂 almost falling from the small step between toilet and the room. So if you are a clumsy person or very tall, very big, this room might be too small/uncomfortable for you. Would be nice to add mosquito nets on the windows.

Lovely small family run hotel less than a mile or so from the centre of Dusseldorf in Pempelfort. Easy, flat walk to Dusseldorf Hbf or via the Hofgarten into Koenigsallee and the Altstadt. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was good value at 11 euros and there are lots of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Good transport links (ubahn, trams and bus) to the city and to the Dusseldorf Messe / Arena.

Room was hot although there was a fan which we inexplicably didn't notice until we were leaving.

Really good breakfast! Nice and kind reception and breakfast service personnel. Secured underground parking within 10 minutes walk from the hotel in the city center for 11 Euro (special price for the hotel guests). Hotel is neat and clean, personnel-less access and check-out.

There is no elevator, which is normal in such old buildings. Not much sockets to charge multiple devices. It's better to have a socket extender.

Spacious room with a decent working corner and comfortable chair and bed. Self check-in was super easy and very convenient, as no special arrival arrangements were needed. The location is a bit outside of the city center, but really good if you need to stay over and get some coffee or dinner in the evening, with plenty of options nearby, as well as REWE convenience store opposite the hotel. Breakfast was in the main building of the hotel (which is just few steps from the building where the room was located), and it was offered good food selections and great coffee.

Very pleasant receptionist. Professional. Plenty of options for breakfast around if you are not taking breakfast at the hotel. Quite central. There is a public parking with the hotel discount for 15Eur per night in walking distance (400m)

Room service Vacuum cleaner went on at 8AM just by our door, like alarm clock as of the sudden. I recommend to arrange time schedule more accurately in the sake of your guests tranquility and proper rest.

Really nice hotel at a great location close to center. We personally walked to the center every time, but if you want you can take a taxi or public transport. The management of the hotel is really good. They give you all the necessary information before you get there and they are ready to help at anytime. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. This was much appreciated. The breakfast offers many choices and it's totally wonderful. Great start for your day. The whole property, from the lobby to the room, is very very clean. The beds are comfortable. Overall, I would definitely send a friend at this hotel.

The pillows could be better.

Walkable distance to the oldtown, good breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely suitable for a weekend trip! Room was clean and fulfills all of our expectations.

It was a bit warm inside (There is a mobile air-condition unit). Until around midnight, you can hear the tram passing by There was earplugs in the room, but we survived without using them.

We stayed here during a big watersport Expo in the Düsseldorf Expohall, since other hotels in the area drove up their price excessively. Doria was a positive surprise for us. The good location, the more than expected spacious rooms (!) and the reasonable price impressed us. We will come again.

The hotel is a great value for money. The room is clean and comfy. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. All room facilities were good. Easy access to the Altstadt and to the Hofgarten.

The walls are extremely thin. It is possible to hear the persons on the neighboring room.
