This hotel is clearly a bit older, which you can see on places where furniture and paint has worn or chipped off. Everything is fully functional, though! The place has been kept in a very good state. It may be small (you might struggle with laying a big suitcase out flat) but space has been used efficiently. The single bed was huge. There's a coffee maker and tea bags. You can get a thermos of hot water at the reception. The vending machine in the lobby has very acceptable prices if you need a snack or other (alcoholic) beverage, and there's a supermarket right across the road. The city centre is 10 min away on foot, the tramp stop next door. It takes 1 change and about 20 minutes to reach Düsseldorf central station. Being near the stadium and next to a road may cause some noise, but the windows keep everything out. You can also get ear plugs at the reception.

-It's supposed to be 24/7 reception but after 6pm on Friday I couldn't find anyone. I tried finding someone on two occasions and waited around, but was unsuccessful. There's no reception bell, and calling loudly was a bit awkward (still, no one came). Maybe calling their reception phone is the solution? -The room was cleaned, but vacuuming had been rushed. There was a lot of dust and hairs from other guests around the bed and in the bathroom...

Comfortable room, good metres, clean, tidy, bathroom perfect with branded shower gel, shampoo etc. coffee, TV, Cupboards siting, lights. all perfect. location was good, all amenities to reaching distance. staff was friendly, parking was available, checkout time was at 12pm was very good not like other hotels at 10 and 11 am. I recommend this to everyone. restaurant is down stairs also good sushi restaurant. Thank you.

Typical chain Best Western hotel, standard small rooms where everything works and is available for a quick stay. I enjoyed the easyness of everything, and the friendly staff.

Location is a bit residential but still there are shops around. I would say is an hotel for quick stops and not for vacations! But overall no problem with anything.

Good location for my purposes & easy for U Bahn & Bus. Large store opposite. Good value for money

Rooms haven't changed over a few years as I've stayed here previously. Didn''t seem as much choice for breakfast probably due to time of year.. Preferred the side bar rather than Sushi restaurant.

I was only one person so the room was small but it's adequately enough for my single stay. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean and useful. The qty of charger point, laptop area and free Wifi is quite good. Close to city centre which is good for the one expecting a little sideview. Also, when you cross the street, you could find a cheap market which means you could reach anything you want easily.

There is no specific area to lay the luggage so only ground and it avoids stepping inside. They don't present slippery and similar small staffs for the ones which are mostly required by hand luggage business person.

We have stayed here many times, and know the layout well. Easy car parking, and plenty of restaurants in town. The rooms are different sizes, and this time we got a nice big one on the first floor. As always, plenty of food options for breakfast!

The breakfast was abundant and delicious!

I asked for 2 separate beds, instead we got a room with two beds pushed against one another. The parking wasn’t easy to find in the dark. We had a street view room, the traffic was quite loud.

Nice hotel located in quite area of Ratingen, but there is a bus stop in 2 min walk distance, you can easily go to Dusseldorf airport from about 15-20 min. Good, but a bit small room for 1 person stay, very clean, with a good matress. Really great breakfast, would highly recommend to enjoy it.

Bedside table was so wobbly, you would not chance having a drink on it, coffee machine still had water In it and used milk pot in with pods, shower had no pressure, hole in towel.

The morning staff were wonderful! Friendly and helpful. We had not booked breakfast as I only wanted a coffee. the lady in charge at the reception immediately told me to take a coffee from the breakfast room. my son was with me and right away the service lady offered him a hot chocolate along with three chocolate Easter bunny’s! it made our morning and the coffee was delicious! thank you!
