The room was great - spacious, quiet & clean. The bed was comfortable, facilities very nice and the parking very easy (though paid).

The pillows were very thin, however I requested another one from reception and quickly received a more robust one. Check-out in the morning was the other part that was quite confusing - I booked and paid on Booking.com and the receptionist could not find verification of my payment; it seemed that some of the hotel's record-keeping is a bit outdated.

Well located to the river Ruhr, the city and some recreation areas, clean hotel, well equipped rooms with enough space and friendly staff

A bit noisy ventilation system in the bathroom, okay with door closed; no e-vehicle loading capability; breakfast was fine, also fair priced, but maybe somewhat short for a 4star hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great, a bit outside the center but at waking distance with the Ruhr close for a nice walk. The rooms are very spacious! Breakfast was fresh, my favorite things were the tiny tea pots with fresh tea.

I missed the possibility of ordering some evening snacks in the bar. Like meat, cheese and bread for example.

You staff went above and beyond to assist and were so friendly. As it was my first trip to Germany, I remain grateful for all they did.

Hotel was very clean, and in a convenient location. Parking on site. Breakfast was good, plenty of tables to eat and typical selections of food.

Modern, clean facilities. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Location close to the river and center of the town.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect for our trip.

I think for €250 a night that it was a shame they had no coffee/ tea facilities in the room. Most hotels at this price really should have a coffee machine in the room

The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic room and a great selection of food at breakfast. Overall stay was superb and I would highly recommend it.
