Lovely location and very easy to find off the motorway. Peaceful surroundings with a countryside feel. Also had covered parking for our motobikes which was much appreciated. Rooms a good size, with a comfy bed and good shower facilities. Good choice of fish and meat dishes on the dinner menu, very generous portions too!

Limited options to sit inside with a beer after the dinner service had finished.

This lovely traditional style ex-farmhouse hotel is perfectly situated in beautiful gardens near the Rhine in Duisburg. The chef managed to furnish me with a meal of wild mushrooms and pasta despite our late arrival. The hotel breakfast was a high quality buffet with everything you could reasonably expect for a hotel of this size. The rooms were very comfortable and despite not being specifically disabled friendly were perfectly manageable by my partner. The staff were all exceedingly helpful and friendly. The gardens and orchards around the hotel were a delight to walk in.

Although staff were very accommodating and helpful, there were no specific facilities for disabled guests who may struggle with a 19 step staircase (I counted them) to the 1st floor rooms. To be fair they did inform me of the steps when I checked prior to booking. Perhaps they could consider installing a lift and converting one or two rooms to better accomodate wheelchair bound guests.

Everything. The location was fantastic, situated by a lake. The gardens were beautiful & so peaceful. The rooms were great. The restaurant was very good & the waiter was exceptionally friendly & helpful.

A team that gives personal attention. Large rooms with a rural view and access from the hotel to a hiking trail around a lake. It is an advantage to have a restaurant. Very good breakfast.

A little oasis of calm and greenery amongst the vast metropolis of the rhine/ruhr cities, yet close enough to access them easily.Great breakfast, lovely garden terrace for evening meals. Garage for bikes. Adjoining a small lake for walks.

Rooms quite hot, but did have air conditioning. This could be remedied by room cleaner leaving window open after cleaning.This is a very small thing only.

A well-maintained hotel at a lovely location. A spacious hotel room with good WiFi, large bathroom, and good beds.
