Fantastic staff in hotel and restaurant. Great location in a lifelesss town. Superb parking garage. Comfy beds. Cozy restaurant.

It was advertised as ‘with AC’ but both our rooms had zero air. This is apparently only available in the ‘old rooms’. It was a very hot and stuffy night. Several small cockroaches in all beds, as well as in the shaggy carpets. Great carpets, but probably impossible to keep clean. Don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel and restaurant with 5-star staff, but with some caveats.

Good garage parking for motorbikes. Rooms very clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms. Quirky bar and restaurant by seemed a bit strange with the modern bedrooms. Great Chinese just across the road, they do a fantastic buffet for €20 Very convenient to A57 which was good for our overnight stop on way back to boat.

Staff very unpleasant, we were left standing at the reception for quite some time while receptionist worked on computer and totally ignored us. Was also difficult to get attention from staff in bar and at breakfast. Breakfast could have been better, breads not great and ran out of croissant’s at 9am - despite a bakery just across the road.

Breakfast was great, excellent restaurant, though pricey. Room was spotless. Free parking, good location, beautiful building.

Less breakfast choices on Monday compared to Sunday. Price is the same. Restaurant is closed on Sunday, bar is closed as well. No coffee maker in room.

Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. Staff on site very helpful.

The fact that they did not have any staff doing the late check in. Although I got the details it was not nice knowing that I could not call for direction on my way in.

very cozy and warm place

Since I didn’t mention on booking that I was bringing my dog, they said they had to move to a different room and because of that change me 15 euros extra per night. Well I suppose now, I’ve learned the lesson. also, the need to send an email to book the spa.

Good location and an ideal stop over. Staff esp. lisa marie and head waiter archi were simply superb and so friendly and welcoming. A marvellous breakfast

No tea / coffee making in rooms albeit we were supplied with them upon request . Rooms quite small.

Very quiet = perfect nights sleep. Staff were very helpful and a big bonus is the very well laid out spa where you can enjoy the sauna rooms.

Only small thing missing was a kettle in the room for tea/coffee. But that is minor, the stay was very good.

Very nice and clean please, the stuff is really helpful, the restaurant is amazing.

We were surprised that the wellness and spa is for nudists, but we had been told that it’s not a problem if we are with bathing suits.

I stayed here for three nights and was so impressed with everything. From the beautiful buildings, including the historical restaurant, to the fantastic Health spa, easy parking and central location this Hotel has everything. The best part of the whole Hotel and experience, though, was the staff. They were incredible. So professional, friendly, and truly some of the loveliest people I have met. I don’t speak very much German (I speak English) but the staff always tried to help. Some spoke English quite well (Thank you to Adalina and Luis; you were amazing in everything you did), some could not speak much English, but they always tried. I was truly impressed by the attention to detail, and kindness, of the staff. If you get a chance, have a massage in the amazing Spa… eat a meal at the truly fantastic restaurant, and take a moment to speak with the staff at reception. They make this Hotel what it is. Truly amazing 🙌🏻

Everything was great.

The Staff are always fantastic. From Reception to the Restaurant everyone is lovely. I have stayed here before and in coming back was pleased to see it has retained its charm and service.
