Located directly on the Rhine at the confluence of the Rühr, the boat traffic was both interesting and relaxing as it made its slow meandering way up river. We could see close up every manner of cargo passing, even close ups of the crew in the wheelhouses The staff themselves were friendly and efficient. Nothing was a problem for them. The rooms were clean, modern and not overly priced

I had to leave early in the morning, and could not spend time on the terrace, facing the rising Sun and watching the river traffic.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We asked for rooms near each other and got rooms next to each other which was a bonus. We arrived late so we wanted to grab some food. The staff advised us a restaurant which was great. The breakfast was really good too the next morning.

The beds were great, however the pillows were very very flat. It felt like laying on air. I did not ask for another pillow, which was my own fault. Also there is limited parking space in the private parking. This was not something which I was counting on, however there is more than enough parking spaces on the side of the road.

A nice hotel. Rooms are a bit "old Style" but very good and confortable, with a lot of light at least in my room. Breakfast was excellent

The aera where the hotel is , is not too nice, but I was able to make a 3 KM walk along the Rhine, which goes along factories and living quarters, not sure how safe that was, but in daylight it should be very nice. I do think the hotel price is a bit hight compared to other similar hotels.

Very friendly hotel in a great river-side spot. The breakfast room has a great view across to the confluence of the Rhine and Ruhr rivers which we found very interesting. It made a good location to break a very long drive up the 3 Autobahn. From the outside the hotel looks rather dated, but inside it was very nicely decorated and comfortable.

The surrounding streets / town aren't very inspiring. We really regretted not booking a river view, which would have been well worth the extra cost.

The hotel's biggest advantage is the staff and its location (on the bank of the Rhine opposite the city, hence beautiful views of the river and many passing barges and ships). The room is well-kept and clean, the breakfast is simple but tasty. Garage for bicycles.

The hotel is well-kept, but some renovation would be useful, although it was nice to spend time in a place reminiscent of times gone by.

The interior is very nice and absolute helpful staff. They were friendly and extremely endeavoured.

It looks a bit scary from the outside :) and I personally wouldn´t let the guests know that restaurant and hotel are 2 seperate instances. It is totally okay but the customer doesn´t necessarily need to know it. It complicated certain things.

Hotel is large and of a good standard, the check in was very efficient and the check in guy was friendly helped us find a petrol station and told us where to park. We had a few beers then dinner which was fine it seems as if the same guy who checked us in did all the waiting as well. The room was very good with two balconies, lovely and clean everything looked new. The view over the Rhine was lovely and it was a pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was included and was very good. Served over a wide range of times to suit everyone. We had a quiet night with no disturbance, bed was very comfortable.

The surrounding area was not the prettiest apart from the riverside, The hotel is a bit of a concrete tower but that is just being a little unfair. Menu for dinner was limited but we enjoyed what we had

We were upgraded to a suite. Thank you Leo. Best room by far in eight weeks on the road. Balconies are a nice addition to the rooms. Excellent breakfast. Professional staff. Secure bicycle garage.

Room was quiet, I had a balcony over looking the Rhine river. Friendly receptionist, great location. Breakfast was also good, I would have appreciated real juice though!

Hardly anything. The cleaning staff barged into our room and was shouting at us that they wanted to clean. My partner and I were both in the middle of business call and we told her to come back. She said she was closing and threw blankets and towels in the room, then left! We reported to the reception and they were very apologetic about it!

The hotel is clean, nice, and in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Great view of the river. Hotel staff is amicable and very helpful. Room was clean and the bathroom as well.

Rooms are a bit outdated. Keycard problems but that is really minor.
