After reading the reviews of this hotel, we didn't have high expectations but we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Yes, this is a budget hotel so there are no extra luxeries but we found it to be very good value for money. Room was spacious enough, beds were really good as I prefer them to be quite firm. Toilet and shower were small but they are inside the private room so that was no issue for us. Room was also clean and parking instructions clear.

There were no hairdryer in the room, although it is possibly to borrow one from the lobby. This worked for us well, but this should be kept in mind before taking the shower.

Paying extra for my child's breakfast as apparently ONLY 2 adult meals was included in the price. Never ever came across something like this before. Usually when i look for -breakfast included- breakfast was always for all 3 of us. Therefore it was most expensive toast my child has ever had...

Very convenient location for a stopover on a long journey. Excellent staff. Good rooms. Free parking. It should be remembered that the hotel has only one "star", but the service and conditions are better than in many two and three "star" hotels.

I understand that this is most likely the policy of the Accor itself, but in a room for three you still need at least a second chair.

This is where I love to stay whenever I need to stay overnight in this part of Germany after an event in a mix of cities - Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Mülheim, Cologne, etc. It is a very good value-for-money, no-frills hotel within walking distance of the Central Station (Hbf). You can check in using a machine and it is all very easy.

I have previously had a nice double bed, this stay I had two singles pushed together and they kept separating during the night. The breakfast is mediocre and not that cheap, you are better off visiting one of the many bakeries within Duisburg city centre or Hbf for this. The WC is also fairly cramped, and if you prefer to do your business in a relaxed manner it will not be here.

Good location, free parking. Supermarket next door. Comfortable bed. Very friendly lady at the reception. Breakfast is rather basic, but better than nothing.

Low sound proof (street noise and next door guests), no lift (carry bags upstairs on 3rd floor). I wish there was a kettle in the room.

very comfortable and large bed. I know this place from the past, because I once lived there, that's because I've booked it. The main station and the city centre is reachable in 10-15 minutes.

I didn't except such a small WC which is not leveled to the ground, this was not comfortable, but it's the only minus and for 2-3 days it is ok. Not recommended for a longer stay, in this case please search for something else.

A basic hotel but excellent value for money. The room, including toilet and shower, was compact but clean and had what we needed. The staff on the checkin desk were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. It is in a central location, close to the river, close to the train station and a 15 minute walk to the centre where most of the restaurants and shops are located.

The pillows on the bed could have been better both in terms of quality and quantity. Being on a junction, at night the traffic was sometimes a bit noisy because as it was the summer we had the window open.

Smart use of space

We have arrived during the night after reception opening hours. The self service machine is good but unfortunately do not accept Visa Debit cards. Luckily we had a Revolut card with us otherwise we would end up sleeping on the street.

Great price easy to check in staff very helpful - stayed here to watch England play in Dusseldorf good links to the other cities.
