Hotel is in walking distance to central station. Staff are very friendly and speak good English. Melvin from the reception team who checked me in on arrival was very professional, and helpful with any questions I had about local area, restaurants etc. A good buffet breakfast available for additional charge.

I did find my bedroom very dark. There wasn’t enough lighting in the room, and the lights that were there, were just not bright enough, which meant I couldn’t read a book in the evening. The bathroom was lovely, but the shower was spoilt by a curtain that was fitted too far into the cubicle, meaning it constantly touched you whilst showering. I can’t remember the last time I had a shower with a curtain in a 4 star hotel. I did raise my concerns about both of these issues during my stay.

Easy to reach the hotel and very pleasant staff at the reception. I liked the windows and the possibility to stand and see the street and see the museum nearby, it's close to the main attractions ion the center.

The paid bottle of water. There was no complementary water. Not a fan of the shower gel personally. I would prefer a soap option for hands. Smell of sewage at the reception and entrance.

The location was fantastic to get into the city centre, just on the edge with about a 5 minute walk.

Due to the renovations we were not informed about until the day before our trip. Very noisy and loss of power, key cards to rooms had to be reset due to this. Also not clear on the booking, but no coffee facilities in all the rooms which is standard in most hotels which shocked me.

The staff and breakfast were top notch. The pool and spa excellent. Location was great. Parking available on site. Shower was good.

The bed. The sheets came out every night. You couldn't put the 2 mattresses together as they were different heights and moved; so you slipped in between them. Two of the main lights didnt work.

The room was perfectly furnished and big, the underground car park was small but OK. About 500 meters to the train station and about 500 meters to the shopping arcade if you want it. If I work in this area again I will try to book this exact hotel again.

Great location, right behind main shopping street, facing a park. Close to our favorite restaurant and shops. Also a few minutes walk to HbF/Flixbus Station.

I guess the hotel is renovating just in time, as I feel the decor is a bit dated in parts of the hotel. I'll go back after the summer to see how the renovation has turned out. Swimming Pool is very tiny (for grown-ups).

Great Great staff. Very helpful. Saw i was a solo bike traveler. Allowed me to bring my bike into my room. I was so happy to get into that bath after a days cycle. Lovely pizza restaurant 2 min walk away.. recommend by staff. Just what I needed

Don't expect a very romantic hotel, just a very decent and well located hotel near a park around the Lehmbruck museum

Very quick check in. Some where safe to store our bikes overnight. Comfortable and clean room. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of items. The breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive.

The staff were very accommodating and our room was very clean. We also had the benefit of secure underground parking.

There was building work going on when we got there on one particular floor so we asked to move and they were happy to move us elsewhere.
