Beautiful riad with an amazing roof terrace - easy to find and within a few minutes walking distance to all of the main sights. They organized a taxi for us to visit Volubilis and Moulay Idriss and even walked with us to the taxi to make sure we found it ok. Breakfast was simple and delicious and served on the roof terrace.

The rooms are all facing the central courtyard/staircase and noise can travel easily between rooms or when people are using the stairs or gathering in the sitting areas in the courtyards. But this is probably true if all riads and not the fault of this particular one.

No need to visit a palace if you live in one! Photos do not do the beauty of this Riad justice! What an absolutely stunning place… we couldn’t stop staring at the various intricate patterns and the lovely decor that this riad’s interior has to offer. We have stayed in various Riads during our trip across Morocco, and this one was by far the most beautiful. One can tell that a lot of work and attention to detail went into the design of these spaces. The Riad, which is located at the entrance of the medina, also offers a great rooftop terrace with lots of plants. From here you have great views of the city and the nearby Bab El Mansour as well as the sourrounding medina. Juliette is extremely welcoming and friendly, and the staff is absolutely lovely.

Beautiful restoration and authentic riad experience. The terrace was unbelievably lovely. Breakfast is served on the terrace and typically Moroccan. Staff were lovely and it was excellent value for money.

As I was a woman alone, it took a while to find the Riad as it is in the heart of the medina and only walkable from main roads. I was worried about getting lost in the alleys, so did not venture too far. If I had someone with me, I would have felt much more comfortable.

Beautifully renovated interior, all done by hand over a seven year period. Makes the guests feel like they are entering a royal palace or museum! Nice breakfast included. Spacious terrace with a view of the city. Good location to explore the medina or Volubilis (a day trip). We parked for 20DH overnight in Lala Aouda square just outside the medina - just don't park at the left end near the judicial court or you'll be blocked in by the morning.

Windows need curtains to be darker at night. Bathroom is small and narrow due to the building constraints, and the toilet is inside the shower area, so you have to walk across wet floor to use the toilet after someone has showered. We had our own slippers, eye blinds and ear plugs, so these were not major issues.

So kind and welcoming place and people at the le petit Ksar. The facilities are fantastic! And we also had very nice breakfast at the terrace. Highly recommend! The decoration is hand made by the owner. A very pleasant staying. Clean and beautiful! At walk distance the local restaurant Aisha was super nice too.

Heating worked in the room. Spacious, sockets near the bed both sides. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, good wifi, hot water. Good location in the medina.

Riad a little cold in the public areas. This will be an advantage in summer though! Strange arrangement of shower and toilet means that after you shower the next person gets wet feet going to the loo. Could've done with extra pillows. Staff probably would have provided these if I'd asked.

Riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, although if you come by car it’s not a problem at all, there is a guarded parking (20 dirham per night) 5 minutes away and you don’t need to drive through the narrow streets to get there. Juliette is an excellent host, communication was perfect, she quickly answered all our questions. The interior design is beautiful and keeps the soul of the place, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it’s quiet at night. For those travelling during winter, it was also warm.

The rooftop was absolutely wonderful! A gorgeous spot to eat the delicious breakfast that’s served.. and to watch the sunset from at the end of the day - stunning. The location is awesome - minutes to the main square.. highly highly recommend this great riad!! Decorated beautifully. A jewel in Meknes! The staff were so welcoming.. particularly Zhour the sweetest lady who smiled and giggled and worked hard to ensure everything was great.. thank you

just a few things to make this even more fantastic - table rather than buffet at breakfast to stop people claiming a lot of food and others losing out; free flasks of tea/coffee in the terrace in evenings (even thought there is a price list not easy to order anything; clean under the beds. Be aware of the additional taxes on top of the booking price - about 40 dinar per night

When we arrived we were extremely well welcomed and the staff did everything to make us feel at home. The Riad is impressively well decorated, we could not stop looking at the beauty of this place. The location was perfect, in the heart of the medina of Meknes, just a stone's throw from El Hedim Square. It is very easy to park the car and get to the Riad. Our room was spacious with a fabulously charming bathroom and a very large bathtub. The rooftop is very well laid out, with every detail thought of. We could have a generous breakfast on it. We were also able to wash our clothes. I highly recommend it!
