A little bit overpriced for the room type

Everything! The location of Hotel 88 in Tsaghkadzor is truly amazing — peaceful, scenic, and close to everything. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the view from our window was simply beautiful. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist. The hotel facilities are top-notch. The indoor swimming pool is absolutely world-class, and the sauna area was a great place to relax. My family had a great time in the kids’ playroom and the awesome game zone equipped with PlayStation 5 and stylish billiard tables — a fantastic touch that made our stay extra enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight — a wonderful selection of delicious and fresh items every morning. Honestly, I loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tsaghkadzor.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. But as a friendly note for future guests: the hotel is located on a hill slightly away from the town center, so having a car is quite helpful when going up and down. However, for me, this wasn’t a negative at all — in fact, it was the perfect choice for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, which was exactly what I was looking for. Also, one of the best things about the location is that it’s just a short walk from the Tsaghkadzor ropeway (cable car), which made it even more special.

I really liked the location and the facilities, which meant I didn’t need to leave the area for anything. Breakfast was included, and we also had dinner at the property. The price and quality of the dinner were well-matched. There was also lovely live music in the hotel lobby, which was free to enjoy. I also had a good time at the gym, although it wasn’t equipped with heavy weights and not all machines were operational. Still, it was great for staying in shape during a vacation. The swimming pool had salty water, which was a nice touch, and there were both dry and wet saunas available separately for men and women, all included free of charge with the room. I also used the spa and massage services, which were very professional and relaxing, though these were paid services. Additionally, the billiards and table tennis were free, and we enjoyed them a lot.

The lobby was cold, which wasn’t very comfortable. However, they had a large fireplace that changed the mood entirely. I enjoyed sitting around it, though it wasn’t big enough to accommodate everyone at once. People had to take turns to enjoy the warmth.

The hotel is located in the most fabulous part of Tsaghkadzor, and there are forests on all sides. The hotel itself is equipped with all infrastructures. - Nice live classic music, - Clean pool, - Children's playground, - Clean rooms, - Large parking area, I would have rated it a 10 if not for last night's incident. Read in "What didn't you like" section.

At night until 4 am, some drunk people, who appeared to be guests, were making noise, listening to bad music, shouting loudly, and disturbing the peace of the entire hotel. We contacted the reception, and they said they didn't hear anything, it was very strange... We and a number of hotel guests did not understand where the noise was coming from, so we did not sleep all night. The next morning, it became clear that some drunk people had been making noise all night. Security tried to calm them down, but they couldn't. It is a very very strange and incomprehensible phenomenon that really deserves a lot of attention. The hotel is located far from the city, has many rooms, so 24-hour security must work flawlessly.

The location was great, the atmosphere of the lobby was great, and my room was neat and clean. The TV size was selected correctly, unlike in other hotels. The quality of the food was good, and the prices were affordable. On the 25th of May, a usual rainy evening in spring turned into a memorable one, thanks to Mr. Grigor. He organized (as reception team entioned) a fireplace for the guests and live music with the right volume and good classical music that matched the atmosphere and was relaxing. In Armenia, it is very hard to find such cases. Usually, when I hear live music, panic sets in because organizers often lack basic knowledge of music and believe live music should be as loud as possible. But 88 Hotel organized it VERY WELL. Thanks to the entire team of this hotel for organizing a great evening. I used the spa service, which had a very good therapist and a heating mat, which is rare to find. I also used the bar/restaurant service for a few hours in the evening. The waiters were polite and helpful all the time, no matter how many times I called them. Swiming pool was clean and considered all guests need. Everything was good.

I felt so hot that I turned on the A/C, but unfortunately, it didn’t cool the room. I assume this might be because their systems were not ready to fulfill the cooling order due to the season. and due to heavy rain I didn't open the window. The breakfast could be stronger, but it was acceptable.

The hotel was positioned at the top of the mountain. It is newly built and the facilities are good. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We ate in the large lounge area while they were setting up for a gig the following night. The food was really tasty. We had bbq lamb and chicken. After dinner we sat by the fire with a glass of wine. Overall it was a very comfortable get away.

One night there was a party at the hotel, and it was so loud, our room on the top floor (fifth) was pumping like we were on the first floor. We come away from the city to get some peace and quiet, maybe minding the party timing, location and noise level would considerate to other hotel guests.

This is the best hotel we have ever been. Excellent location, close to the ropeway. It is surrounded by forests, the air is fresh. A hotel where the quality and service exceed expectations, when the service exceeds the price you pay. Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, tasty kitchen, very understanding and helpful staff. And what I liked most is the warm, large swimming pool. We will definitely come back.
