1. Close and easy 7 min free transfer to/from the airport - we were there on a 20hr transit 2. deinitely a 5 star.. everything is "large", rooms, ceilings, lobbies, corridors, pool, lobby, bathtub, shower, windows, all large and gorgeous 3. we were upgraded to a Deluxe Lake View "Double Double" Room on the top floor (thank you!) 4. the 2 monster double beds were amazingly comfortable! 5. quiet and calm atmosphere for us after our long Europe flight - 6. enjoyable live music during evening buffet (Yuan139 pp) 7. Very friendly and patient staff 8. great view from our large room widow of aircraft landing and departing (for this aviation geek) 9. had a nice long hot relaxing bath in the room - ahh!

1. Didn't appreciate having to pay an extra half day rate up and above the normal overnight rate because our flight arrival happen to be at 7;30am and our departing flight at midnight same day and didn't fit it with their check-in/check-out times 2. WiFi very slow, even in lobby (good for emails only) 3. No mini-market/convenience small store within or closeby (either a 5min taxi ride to shopping centre or back to the airport terminal for one !)

I appreciated my stay here for a 20-hour layover, arriving at 6 a.m. and leaving at 1 a.m. the following day. I liked the big room with modern amenities, delicious breakfast with plenty of Western options, helpful staff that allowed an early check-in despite the fee, gym facilities, and the ability to walk from Beijing airport. All in all, this is where to stay if you have a layover and need some rest and respite.

It would have been nice to check in earlier without the check-in fee & the receptionist to learn a bit more English, I was not offered advice or transport to the airport, but that's ok; plus, there was a strange smell throughout the hotel, but that was probably just jet lag.

Excellent airport hotel. Hotel is in an upscale area with a beautiful park across the street. Our room had a lovely view of the small lake in the park and the sunset over the distant mountains. There is a free shuttle to the airport that runs every 20 minutes. There is a shopping center nearby with many small, good restaurants. I enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool. The pool is quite large by hotel standards. We appreciated Cedric's help arranging late check-out. The Luo Hong Art Museum is just down the road about 5km. Luo Hong's photography is breathtaking and there is a nice cafe at the museum for coffee and cakes. Well worth a visit while you wait for your late night flight!

Great stay. Staff went out of their way to help whenever they could. Shuttle to/from airport ran on time (read the instructions for the pickup point carefully - they are correct!). Our flight arrived early and the staff were kind enough to allow us an early checkin which made all the difference. Lake view was lovely. Vending machine in lobby for snacks drinks was handy.

Lobby lacked much atmosphere but I can't blame the hotel for that. A bit away from any other restaurants/shops. We used the shuttle bus to go back to the airport for supplies (there's a mini-market on arrivals level). Although there's an express train from the airport to city, it's a bit time consuming to use this hotel as a long term base for a city break, which is a shame as I'd happily stay longer next time.

Obviously the location was great, but also the FOOD. Breakfast was vast and delicious. We also ate a few meals at the hotel in the Ming Court restaurant. We also tried the all you can eat dim sum. It was quite affordable (for us, who are used to Munich Germany restaurant prices) and the quality of the food was amazing. It was so delicious. The beds, blankets and pillows were comfortable too.

I am not a fan of the window that serves as a wall that divides the bathroom from the rest of the room. Even with the blinds pulled down, there is no privacy. As a married couple, it's fine. Except maybe when you have to get up in the middle of the night to pee and turn on the bathrom light, this will then wake up your sleeping partner (even with the blinds down!). So - I think it's a very bad design for the room. I think there should be a sign that says Cordis Airport Hotel where the shuttle picks you up at the airport. There were signs for Hilton, etc.

Location is excellent. I needed to catch flight at T3 Beijing capital. The hotel is just a few minutes away from it by shuttle bus. Staff at hotel were excellent helpful and professional to their guests. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Breakfast was tasty had variety of choices both Chinese and western style.

The last time when I stayed at this hotel was 5-6yrs ago. It seems the decoration in the room and quality of facilities like shower cubicles, door, wardrobe stuff are getting tired and needed refurbed. There is also smoking smell when I checked in.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Spacious luxury. Great swimming pool. Quiet location even though next to major airport. Good selection of breakfast. Fantastic for stopover break. Clean and calm air throughout.

Trying to find shuttle bus for the first time, no signs unlike mirror Hilton Hotel opposite. I should have read the instructions on website, before arriving. I thought I could walk as only few hundred metres,but not easy to. But friendly police and bus driver helped me find it eventually.

The location was great for us as we had to catch a flight next day. Hotel offered a shuttle from and to the airport that was very convenient. Beautiful view from the room, a lake reflecting landing planes and a park. Spacious room, very clean, good facilities. Very tasty breakfast.

When we were checking in the receptionist offered us a free "upgrade" to a children's room. We were confused and asked what is the difference between the room we initially booked. He replied that children's room is bigger. We took it and it turned out to be a very small, creepy room with spiderman theme. We decided to go back to the reception and take back the room we initially booked declining his "upgrade". When we saw our room at 6th floor it became clear that the guy lied to us and we took it as an offence towards European tourists. All other members of staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel had swimming pool available but it wasn't very clean. Slimy water and cigarette smoke everywhere made this experience unpleasant.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, and for just £62! What a shame it was only for 12 hours! Apparently it's walkable from the airport, but don't make the mistake of thinking it's in the terminal. The shuttle bus is very convenient, free, and every 20mins in both directions. The staff spoke pretty good English but use a translator app to be sure.

Sadly the entire spa is, in the staff's own words, "always closed". I only found that out when I tried to book a massage after browsing the options in the in-room guide book. I think they mean it's being renovated but that was a disappointment.

The proximity to airport is fantastic, free shuttle bus running to and from Airport is only a 3min drive from Terminal 3, and times displayed on Booking are accurate. We loved the room, was very clean and comfortable beds, extremely spacious! We did not appreciate that we had to wait for our room to be ready, considering we had come off a very long flight that arrived in the early hours of the morning. The hotel does not offer early check in which is a little concerning as its proximity to the airport suggests that guests would be staying here in transit for less than 24h (like us) but cannot check in at the time that their flight arrives, even if early hours of the morning. Early morning reception staff could not speak English and was very hard to communicate with them about the check in. Best to communicate via the Booking app, and get confirmation of early room availability prior to arrival at the property. A bit of a pity, that an international brand such as Langham does not offer the hospitality of early check in for all transiting guests.
