Amazing ambience, beautiful buildings and setting. Super helpful and friendly staff. Comfy beds, spacious rooms that were charmingly decorated in a shabby-chic style. Delicious breakfast with a wide range of home made jams. The grounds were spectacular in the spring with beautiful flowers and full of birdsong. We were able to keep our bikes safely in the old stables. We learned how to play French Billiards (no pockets on the table!)
The creperie at the Chateau is only open in High Season, so we couldn't get a drink or meal at the Chateau. We had an excellent meal at Sciotot, which is about 10 minute bike ride way.

The chateau is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we drove in I felt relaxed and loved exploring the gardens and all the different parts to the estate. The owners were friendly, helpful and made our stay perfect. If you want a bit of peace and quiet And to switch off then this is the place to come. You could spend all day just relaxing in the gardens if you wanted to! The breakfast was also great and plenty of Choice. The rooms were quirky and the added extra of the piano in the drawing room was the icing on the cake. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks you!

Stayed 2 nights before getting the ferry home from Cherbourg - perfect place to end the trip, with really lovely grounds that were perfect for walking my dog in, and the most delicious breakfast served in stunning surroundings. 2 mins from a gorgeous beach, vet in neighbouring town to get my dog prepped for journey home, and 30 mins drive from the port.
The creperie was closed when I was there, and there isn’t really anywhere else nearby to eat (I was there on Tuesday& Wednesday nights and everywhere nearby was closed) Recommend booking a table at the creperie if it’s open.

A wonderful opportunity to stay in a chateau. We opted for a family room which was absolutely huge and well appointed with two large double bedrooms, a living room with a fridge and tv and views out to the sea. The breakfast was lovely and home made jams, delicious. We particularly liked the roaming chickens and a chance to roam the grounds ourselves. It would be lovely to return in the summer time and enjoy more along the beautiful coastline and surrounding villages.
Nothing.

Helped us jusp start our car when we were due to leave for the ferry. We would very much like to return. Thank you for the fabulous hospitality.

Its a place to surrender with your soul, peaceful and calm. We enjpyed the extraordinary ambience. The breakfast was prepared with extra care and the axurvedic massages are very much recommended!
Reservations in the creperie are taken seriously. There is no discussion about last minute orders even if its a hungry child.

Incredible totally unique experience. Felt transported to another time yet with all the conveniences. Magical place, hardly have words it is so comfortable, so crazy beautiful. The care and love here is in every detail. Best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel, chambre de hôte… We will be going back.

Our room was actually a suite with a separate study. Surroundings were beautiful, breakfast excellent and service like in 5-star hotel- only it's a historic castle. This is as close as you might ever get to being invited to spend a night in a historic castle. Our toilet was in the small tower with archers windows ❤️

The historic site was a treat. The warmth and welcoming treatment of the hostess and host were exceptional. The food at their restaurant the night we stayed was superb. Their pottery studio was amazing. The walk in the garden, donkeys and trails were great. Thanks for having us.
They only had one chicken and one eye cat. I’d like to see a rooster roaming the yard too. The owners have still some work to do, but the food, the hospitality and the nice clean rooms make up for all is needed. Good luck to them in the future.

Booked for a quick overnight break on ferry from Poole as only about 30 minutes drive from Cherbourg. Fabulous surroundings - could have stayed on site for whole trip exploring extensive grounds and grand guest chateau lounge and games rooms had we so wished. Did go out on our bikes to explore pretty uncommercialised coast and for evening meal in nearby Les Pieux - an interesting little town (we hadn't noticed beforehand that the Chateau creperie was not open the night of our stay (wednesday). Lovely staff and a great inclusive breakfast (especially the home made jams)
