The location is incredibly strategic — two 7-Eleven stores just steps away, and only a 5-minute walk to the Shinkansen station. Since my room facing Koriyama Station, I can casually watch the Shinkansen come and go from my window. Plus, right across the road you’ll find a five-storey wonderland of watches, cameras, and everything else you didn’t know you needed. What I love most is their super-systematic way of providing fresh towels, bathrobes, and mineral water without entering the room. Full privacy, yet freshly stocked essentials every day. Perfect!

When traveling in Japan, I like to get out of the crowds. Koriyama was a great Shinkansen stop on the way to Sendai. Convenient location, comfortable room, great staff, near restaurants and convenience stores for snacks/meals. Nearby shops fulfilled my shopping list. Easy-to-use train station with no crowds. I encourage travelers to look for hotels like this one. They are easy to book, near the station and easy to find, safe and comfortable, reasonably priced, and allow access to parts of Japan away from the major cities and crowds. Note that the front desk is not on the ground floor.

The room was very comfortable and all the amenities were readily available. The breakfast was also very delicious, although it was more or less the same food for all the 3 days I was staying there.

Not really, the service was great. Maybe a small issue but probably same for many hotels in Japan especially in the smaller cities, that they are not able to provide an invoice if it was paid on booking.com, and I am travelling for work so it was slightly inconvenient.

Probably the highest-rated hotel on Booking in Koriyama — and absolutely deserved. In fact, considering the price, it turned out to be one of the best hotels we stayed at during the entire Japan trip. Everything was excellent, including the breakfast.

The only minor issue was the lack of power outlets — there was just one by the bed, and of course it was a Japanese socket. Though to be fair, we didn’t think to ask for an adapter at the front desk.

Moderate rooms have spacious bathrooms, the on-site laundry was handy, and we liked the in room seating / table set up, with a view over station and hills. Good to access train nearby to see surrounding area. Helpful and welcoming staff.

Not a big deal but having the bed against the wall meant partner had to clamber out the end (not impossible, but awkward). I guess for the total room size, a generous bathroom makes up for that.

We stayed one night as we were picking up our rental car in Koriyama. The Hotel is modern, comfortable, clean and right near the station (you can see it as you come out of the station). The staff were helpful and pleasant and it was a comfortable way to start our trip. Short walk of 8 mins to Toyota Rent a Car. Would stay again if passing through this pleasant town.

I love the property. Convenience at its best. Located right next to the Shinkansen and many stores, this hotel is CONVENIENT. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and very clean. New updated bathrooms and very kind staff. They were very helpful. I would recommend to anyone going to Koriyama to stay here.

Location directly across from the station made it easy to locate. Straightforward check in and out assisted by staff. Room as described, clean and comfortable. Great having onsite laundry. Breakfast had adequate choices, staff were delightful!

Very happy with our visit.

This is a really nice business class hotel. I've not stayed at the Daiwa chain before, but this branch at least was really nice. I had a real window overlooking Koriyama Station and the AC very quickly cooled off the room, so we were able to sleep well. (We checked in very late, around 10:00 pm)

This is not the hotel's fault, but Booking had me in a single because my tween is 12, but the hotel didn't realize I was traveling with a 12 year old. I had put my tween's age into Booking when searching for a room because I know some hotels charge for children in Japan.

Just a few steps from the station, it’s very easy to find. Smooth check-in and check-out. We were able to send our luggage to another hotel with the help of receptionists. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay overall.

All good, would stay again without hesitation.
