It was quaint. I did not know exactly how different it would be from a motel. We enjoyed meeting others in a common area and spending late afternoon and early evening on the front porch in the rockers. The hostess was really the brightest spot of the whole event. She was a fine young lady and spent time with her guests.

The price was more a reflection of the National Quilt Show that was in town, which is why we were there in the first place. It was a Christmas present for the spouse. I made the decision to go even with the price but it would have been better if it was a little lower.

The location. The history of the Washington hotel was impressive. Victoria was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The jetted bathtub was very nice and the king size bed was very comfortable.

Our room we rented was a small bedroom with a common living room area that multiple renters used for the kitchen and living room. The only privacy was in our small bedroom which we didn’t pick up on when the room was rented. We also ran out of hot water in the mornings due to the fully booked hotel for the Eclipse. We paid 3 times normal rates for our 2 day stay but did agree up front to this rate to be centrally located for the Eclipse.

It was in an old historical house. The room was small. It was nice to meet others at breakfast in the dining room and chat a bit. The hostess was lovely and she made a special delicious breakfast. The coffee was strong enough😊

There really needs to be a bedside lamp and table on both sides of the bed….even though the room is small there are little tables and lamps to fit….there was no place to put glasses, phone, etc.

Our stay was awesome. The staff were wonderful. They made my wife's birthday special. We highly recommend anyone staying in Paducah to check out the 1895 Washington Hotel. Our room was very nice and very clean, the bed was very comfortable. And the staff was very accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. 5 stars all the way.

The only thing I didn't like was that our stay was too short

We really enjoyed the ‘old’ feel to it of the marble walls and floors, the old antique french style couch that was in our room and the overall decoration of the historic property was very beautiful and spot on.

We wish there would’ve been a small curtain on the door that went to the patio, there was some light that came into the room and the glass to the door wasn’t covered to prevent anyone from looking in. BUT, we still enjoyed our stay.

The host, James, was genuinely kind & friendly. He was transparent about the room options (the b&b also includes the home next door). It was clean, quiet, comfortable, economical and well located (close to old town & riverfront). The town of Paducah is charming and I hope my travels bring me back again someday for a longer visit.

Unique. It looks more like a bed & breakfast. It has facilities to be one. Full kitchen. Full size refrigerators. Cookware and utensils. Glasses, bowls and cutlery. Makes you feel like you’re sharing someone’s home. It has history related atmospheres. The room was the cleanest I’ve been in for years and I travel a lot. I was very pleased.

It was a nice quiet room even though there were other guests. We were divided a different room that what I had reserved. Great.

There wasn’t a breakfast provided, B n B? You had to drive down the street for the breakfast at. An additional cost. The tv remote didn’t work.

This place is so cool! The staff were very friendly, gave us a quick tour and a bit of History which is really neat. Everything is very clean and tidy. The beds were so nice and unbelievably comfortable! There's an all you can eat diner nearby which is delicious and affordable. We were very excited to find this place.

I like this old Victorian, I like the tapestries and artwork inside. Very nice front desk fella. It feels like home with access to a kitchen.

Not all rooms have a bathroom and toilet, but it is comfortable to go down the hall, it’s a little damp and musty, but that must be the south.
