What an atmosphere!! Beautiful view, quiet, relaxing, mattress exceptionally confortable, as well the pillows. Bed linen impeccable! Service is outstanding! Great Cheff, great time! We hope to visit again!

The staff were very friendly and professional. Always happy to help. The bed was glorious and the pillows were perfect. Life's too short for hard beds/rubbish pillows!! Lovely pool. Good food. Great views of the coast from its place on the cliff top. Good base for us to visit Tharros and see some of the west coast.

There is nothing else around it. There's a beach - nothing special with a beach bar, which was ok. There's one other restaurant, also ok (and not as expensive as dinner in the hotel) and a pharmacy within walking distance. Otherwise you need to drive to the next village, but there's not much there either! We're in our 60's and not looking for bright lights, but it is very quiet.

Stunning views. Beautiful location but you definitely need a car - but roads were quiet. The outdoor pool was icy cold - which surprised us with the sunny climate. Room was clean and very comfy. Breakfast was good lots of variety. We hadn’t booked Dinner with out 6 day stay so only had their a le carte menu which after a couple of days having the same thing became difficult as there are no eateries near by they have all closed. Santa Caterina like many other towns look Like they are deserted when you drive through. This area has been untouched by tourism. We did enjoy our time in Sardinia.

THE POOL - was icy cold.

We asked for a room with a sea view. Our room did indeed have a sea view, and a view of village of Santa Caterina, of the hills behind the village, of the beach, of the rocky headband on the other side of the small bay, of the sea and of the peninsula in the far distance. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a restaurant but we did not dine there. We walked a few minutes down to the beach and had an excellent dinner in the bar/restaurant, la Chiosca, on the beach.

The only negative was that some areas of the hotel would have benefitted from a coat of paint.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at La Baja. The staff were really friendly, accommodating and helpful. The view from the room and hotel overall was spectacular. Breakfast had a variety of choices. The hotel is located a very short walk from the beach and there are a few nice restaurants within a short drive (recommend small towns Cuglieri & S'Archittu) We also received 2 free drinks upon arrival to use at the hotel pool bar. Would definitely return.

I can't think of anything. I can only add that I would recommend you to have a car if you are staying here and also if you do not like hills/walking then this is probably not the place for you.

Stunning location with a great view! The beach is accessable via stairs, the view from the pool area is gorgious. The food is delicious and the most of the staff is very friendly. Our room was small but clean, the bed very comfortable.

The hotel is not very well decorated, it's rather sufficient than comfortable and warm. Unfortunately, really overpriced for the service and facilities. The view is worth it, but the interior design and the room itself (especially the bathroom) don't justify the high price

Nice, quiet, small hotel in a small willage, wonderful beach, friendly staff, excellent dinner options if you have a "half board".

Breakfast selection was quit small! And walls are so thin, you can hear everything in the next room! Opening hours of the pool bar was surprise, you never know if it will be open or not :) But that all was only details! There is absolutely perfect local bar near the beach!

The view outside when you wake up, the view outside when you sleep, the view when you're having breakfast. It was amazing and breathtaking. One of the most beautiful views you'll see when staying in hotel La Baja

Did not like the lunch. Eating at the local restaurants nearby is so much better. We only had breakfast afterwards

This is a calm relaxing place with outstanding natural landscape and recommended for those who want to recharge their mental batteries far from the city noise. Very chillful and stillness place to stay and the staff are super nice as well. I hope I will visit this hotel once again

Santa Caterina may seem a bit off the beaten track, but once you get to Hotel La Baja you'll be amply rewarded. The view of the bay from our veranda was stupendous. The medieval tower right next to the hotel is very impressive, and I have not said anything yet about the sumptuous breakfast and the exemplary service. It's about 45 min. drive to the charming town of Bosa - highly recommended.
