We liked the free breakfast. They had potatoes and french toast alternating days. The pool was great, with steps taking up the whole corner and sides, which was perfect for my 1 and 3 yr old to sit and walk around on. Hot tub was nice and hot. The staff was excellent and super friendly. My son spilled rice in our room from dinner one night and they vacuumed it up upon request, no problem. Our room had lots of space for a pack n play and all our luggage.

Their restaurant closed on our 2nd day due to a power surge, so we had to go elsewhere for dinner one night.

The landscape out front was super cute and looked well maintained. The lobby area was very spacious with sitting by fireplace to just sit and relax if you wanted. The look of shower in room was very elegant with what looks like black and white granite. But I think my favorite was picture of places you could do day trips because some were so beautiful that I really want to visit, especially the one behind the check in desk(s)! Overall, definitely my type of hotel!

For me, the pillows were too firm for me and would have liked bed to be a bit on the softer side. I liked having the restaurant in the hotel, but it would be nice if it had more variety so some stuff didn’t taste like it came out of the freezer.

Breakfast was substantial and varied. Dinner at their restaurant was great and actually reasonably-priced. Hot tub was great... if we could have spent more time probably would have enjoyed the pool with the large garage opening more. Loved the bed and space in the room.

Exercise room like most... not my cup of tea... wish these place would have floor pads for stretching, especially given all the walking/hiking in the area. Pool was pretty chilly.... might have been fine on a warm day... didn't get to it until evening. They need to decorate the walls in the dining room... pretty spartan.

It was an absolutely beautiful lodge! A total surprise to find such a wonderful accommodation in a smaller town. We loved our two-night stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were all so friendly, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant was top-notch at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed our salmon dinner so much the first night that we ordered the exact same thing the next night:). Had some great hikes in the area and also enjoyed stopping at the beautiful Visitor Center. If you are in Escalante, this is definitely the place to stay!! 100% recommend

Loved everything about it!

The breakfast wasn't bad, the waffles were good but the eggs were not. I appreciate any breakfast being offered and the variety was good. I loved the laundry amenity.

The lighting throughout the hotel could be better. In the lobby and restaurant, it's too bright and stark, especially at night. When we ate in the restaurant, there was no one to serve alcohol, and we couldn't put the charge on our room.

Beautiful facilities in excellent condition, wonderful clean and very spacious room with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool each night. Breakfast was a wonderful treat each day with sweet and savory options to fuel us for a full day of hiking. We also ate dinner each night in the hotel restaurant and the servers were very kind and helpful, we enjoyed each of our meals (especially the burger). Amazing location, would absolutely stay again. Front desk, restaurant, and breakfast staff were all consistently kind and helpful!

The swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic! The lobby was comfortable, clean, and nice. It was great knowing they had a restaurant on site in case we needed it (we never got to eat there though). Also having the breakfast included was convenient. It was a decent breakfast.

Our room was mostly clean. The shower had a big glob of hair left in it and the bedding for the couch bed was dirty (they gave us clean ones immediately). In the main bed some of the pillows had hair on them.

The bed was super comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was even better because of Mel who made us feel like we were a guest at her home!

My daughter and I were a little bummed because at the time the pool heater wasn’t working but it didn’t matter the pool depth was over 5’, a big door opened to the outside and we loved it!

The most comfortable bed!! This is a beautiful hotel with friendly and gracious staff. We loved the little town and the locals were so friendly and helpful.

It’s sad the pool is inside and not outside. The breakfast buffet was lacking. The lady that ran the buffet was ever so kind and accommodating. However, the bagels and English muffins were stale and the biscuits were under cooked. Just not brilliant. But not awful either.

The staff was very professional and friendly. My laptop charger broke so I asked the young man at the front desk if he had a spare charger and he gave me his personal charger to use for the evening. That was the kindest thing he could do! I was very impressed that he would go that far to make sure I had what I needed.

The dinner we had at the restaurant inside the hotel was just okay and the quality of the lettuce for my salad, I could tell it was prepackaged and wilted a bit. I won't spend my money there again.
