The photos dont justify the location. Rooms we booked were Cabins. So was expected, cabins were cozy enough. Tiny bathroom, especially the showering area. But we like it. The location is awesome. They have a restaurant next to it, having live music, very good food. Highly recommend this restaurant "Showdown". Next to the lodge, they have gas station and departmental store. Had a great experience.

We booked two rooms. In between two rooms, especially 22 and 23 cabins, there was a fowl odor that comes with the wind. Your parents couldn't keep the door open and sit outside for longer due to the odor!! Odor may be from bathroom outlets they have in the back for each room. Honestly, in the room, we stayed 28, and that side it didn’t smell. We noticed the outlet from the bathroom tank or something was kind of in the middle of those 22 and 23 rooms. So that area actually had the issue. Hope they can fix that issue.. Othwr than that, II would say, its the best place at Tropic for your Bryce Visit. Beautiful Location.

The pool was very fun (and we met a fun new friend from the UK there which really made it more fun). We enjoyed the roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The room was spacious. My one son LOVED the work out room (he plays football) and he said it was one of the best hotel workout rooms he had seen. It was a great stay for us.

I didn't realize until a few days ahead of time there was no breakfast included which was a minor snag for us. We ended up eating at the grill in the gas station which was really good food for the most part. The air conditioning unit worked well, but it was very loud when it was on. The pool temperature could have been a little warmer, but that is what you normally get with outdoor pools. Overall, minor inconveniences for us.

The on location restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of choices, from all American grease to avant garde health, all with generous portions and excellent prices. I was quite happily surprised. The gym was large, well appointed, with a/c and two ceiling fans, aerobic and resistance machines. The location is perfect for seeing Bryce Canyon National Park and Kodachrome State Park both being 15 minutes or so away. The staff was very responsive, acting on all requests immediately (ie., extra luggage rack, new towels, etc.).

Minor stuff was the negatives. The towels looked worn out and thin and need replacing. The bathroom was okay but the cabin bathroom (my wife and I were in the cabin) was too small for a couple except that its tiny size encouraged closeness :). The smoke detector was not placed correctly. Instead of being in the center of the room it was placed near the corner above the bathroom door top level. The shower fog could cause a false alarm. The lack of a breakfast with the choice having to do with eating at local restaurants (all within 2 to 4 blocks) was workable but not ideal. My wife didn't like that much of the walking grounds was large gravel making it, for her, more difficult to traverse.

LOVE the Bryce Pioneer Village! We stayed 2 nights in a queen bed room - spacious, clean, comfy, quiet. We loved the entire lot, an OASIS to really find tranquility and switch off. The surroundings and facilities are great! Lots of outdoor seating areas, firepit, hammocks, grassy areas to relax or play ball and games, pool and hot tub, onsite restaurant with live music every night (affordable prices, first come basis). All staff is very friendly, service-minded. Amazing night skies and sunrises, just a short drive from Bryce Canyon entry. RECOMMEND!!

This was a perfect stay for a night with our three kids after visiting Bryce Canyon. The 10 min drive was super scenic through the Red canyon Tunnels. Staff was very friendly and helpful with where to park our small camper trailer while staying in the rooms. During our short night stay we used the Volleyball net, bench swings, community fire pit, picnic tables, enjoyed the creek running through and complimentary coffee/tea. (We didn’t even have time for the pool/hot tub). Scenery was gorgeous and we loved being able to walk to the convenience store, pizza place and country market to get what we needed. Rooms are rustic, but clean, quiet and suited our needs with three queen beds and still lots of space to stay organized. Would definitely return!

Was initially worried the beds might be a little worn as they didn’t appear the luxury pillow top often in hotels, but they were pleasantly comfortable. It was very quiet for us, but at one point in the morning I could tell it might have been noisy with the wrong neighbors sharing a wall.

There was no breakfast provided, but otherwise it was a great place to stay. It was only 10-15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. We really liked the Route 12 Grill, which was only about a half block away. There were opportunities to socialize and mingle with others, including the pool, the fire pit next to the main lobby, and the restaurant/bar on the property. There were also opportunities to play outdoor games.

It would have been nice if breakfast was included.

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel and found it to be a cozy retreat, much more than just a typical motel. The green areas and the swimming pool provided a perfect environment to relax, giving us a break from the usual roadside atmosphere. The friendly and attentive staff made our stay enjoyable. The on-site restaurant, conveniently located just 100 meters from our room, was a highlight with its delicious food and welcoming staff. Overall, I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning for another stay.

The room itself was comfortable, though there was limited space for hanging clothes and it could have been a bit cleaner, with some dust on the bedsheets and the carpet.

Great location near to Bryce Canyon National Park. Good facilities with pool, restaurant, outdoor seating, fireplace, outdoor chess, volleyball, etc. The rooms, incl. bathroom and beds, were fine and quiet, Good value for money in this area.

There was a funny smell in one of our two rooms (nothing in the other room). We didn't complain, so we don't know if they would have offered us another room. We did however mention to the staff at check out that we found both a pair of old socks and pop corn beneath our beds and got nothing nothing but a shrug from the young staff. Otherwise the rooms were clean.

We loved our stay! this was our second time staying in one of the 2 queen rooms with our 2 children. The first time was in June 2020 and we loved it then. All the conveniences and amenities make the stay that much better. My family loves the pool & chess set most of all, they provides us with a good amount of entertainment in our downtime. We take the short walk to the gas station/convenience store next door for anything else we might need before heading into the park for the day or after a hike to get a cold drink. The proximity to Bryce is prefect, the views top notch, and the reaturant was really good! I had the mushroom pasta, and a Utah made cider. The fire pit was going, and smores stuff was available. The staff is so friendly and was able to accommodate us coming into town a day early. We will always choose to stay here when we're in the area!

We stayed in a cabin on site and took advantage of the restaurant with live music for dinner. My daughters really enjoyed the music and rodeo on the TV at the restaurant. We utilized the campfire and marshmallows for dessert. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the laundry facilities were nicer and more convenient than I expected. It was very close to Bryce Canyon, and we saw a lot of wildlife in the area (including a wild turkey!).
