It is a nice, clean, cozy room (with self-check-in) with interesting details and a clean bathroom. The ice machine and the grill on the porch are excellent bonuses.

The introductory email with instructions on accommodating is long and bloated, and essential information can easily be missed. A call with the owner was not very helpful, either. Also, there is just a small desk in the room - and the fridge occupies half of it. That is a very impractical decision, as there are no other places in the room where you can place your items.

Room very comfortable, had everything I needed.

A small thing, but TV options limited. In a town where nothing is going on after dark, you might want to watch a little TV. I wanted to watch a specific baseball game but learned that in order to do so, you have to have your own TV provider back home and enter your own password on the TV. I don't have a TV provider back home so I was out of luck. That's like making you have your own national internet provider in order to use the wifi. Again, a small thing.

This room was excellent! The self checkin was extremely easy. The owner was always available and just a phone call or text away. I stayed in the Alpha Den which was great. I loved the wolf motif since I am partial to wolves. It was cozy and had everything you could possibly want. The towels were SO soft and it even had real toilet paper and kleenix which you don't get at many motels. They didn't spare anything. It was just perfect! If I am through this way again, I will definitely stay here. The location was good too, close to market and restaurants and many activities on Hwy 12. I highly recommend!!

Not a thing!

Second time we’ve stayed there when traveling through Escalante from Colorado to southern Utah. We love the location. Just around the corner from the Outfitters restaurant. It’s a very rural town and we happened to come when there was a classic car show. The accommodations are very nice in this rustic log cabin lodge. Very cozy. Very clean. Was easy to communicate and even when my app wasn’t cooperating, I was able to contact the owner to get the info I needed.

Was shocked by the room size, it was a super cute setup in the room and super nice!

Wish there was a water fountain or water bottles in the room, by the time we got into town everything was closed we didn’t know the town closed down so early and at that point we were unable to get water. I know they offered free coffee which was also great but would have liked to have water as well.

The location was good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a good amount of space and hooks by the door to hang coats etc.

The wifi wasn’t working so I had to walk to the next hotel to use theirs to contact the owner. There was no coffee pot with the coffee maker—I messaged the owner but never received a reply. I could hear everything in the room next door…

It's a fantastic place! It's named an "Inn", but in reality it's a luxury lodge! The emphasis is on luxury. There is no service desk, you get a check-in code and just leave at the end, but since everything is perfect, and luxurious (that word again!), you would not need the service desk, anyway! If you really need help, you can call them, and I'm sure they would show up, but did not have the need. Regarding the spaciousness: there is an 8-feet tall taxidermy bear decoration in the main room, which we did not notice for hours. That's how spacious it is! Grand Staircase Escalante is 20 minutes, Bryce is 50 minutes, Petrified forest is almost walking distance. Perfect location!

An absolutely wonderful room, #3 (“River Bend”). Beautifully crafted in a fishing lodge style, with extraordinary use of wood and wonderful decor. (This is not a bogus review. I enjoyed the space so much I never turned on the TV.)

When I walked in the front door and looked down the hallway, my first thought was, “Am I staying in a well worn Alaska hostel?”

Very clean log cabin feel. Natalie communicated well with us so when we arrived we got in to our room through a lock code. Room was stocked with more than we expected. Coffee, gas grill and accoutrements, microwave, ice machine. Charming decor. Comfortable bed. An easy 3 minute walk to the best pizza place we’ve ever been to (and also to other good restaurants. Quiet area. Close to national and state parks. We loved our one night stay there and will plan to come back again to stay longer and see more of the country nearby.

Such a cute little hotel. Lot's of personal touches and thoughtful additions from free snacks and water to bbq's and supplies free to use. Also she had free styrofoam coolers people could take along with generous drawstring ice bags. So many cute personal touches that truly made our stay exceptionally pleasant. In fact, we stayed here twice in the same trip!

The lighting was a little dim at night. There were bedside lamps, but the over the bed chandelier was too high up on a vaulted ceiling to really give enough light in the room if you were trying to anything detailed like reading a map.
