It had everything we needed.

Patio needs some work in making it a little more welcoming. Would have loved to sit out back, but it was like I was sitting at a mechanics shop. Not a lodge or hotel. Maybe just a privacy fence or something. We were a little disappointed that the washer and dryer were not available on a one night stay. If it said that two nights were required I missed that in the listing. Also the hot water heater is not larger enough or close enough to enjoy the spa tube. The water was not hot enough to enjoy.

I love the cabin decor, room was cozy & comfortable! The owner had the room AC turned on ahead of time, so when we arrived it was nice & cool for us to rest after a long day of driving. Also snacks were provided in the room. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the owner. Thank you!

I thought the room comes with free breakfast, but it was not. On the website it advertised as " Breakfast available", so it was my bad for not reading it right. You need to buy your breakfast at the local restaurants.

It is a nice, clean, cozy room (with self-check-in) with interesting details and a clean bathroom. The ice machine and the grill on the porch are excellent bonuses.

The introductory email with instructions on accommodating is long and bloated, and essential information can easily be missed. A call with the owner was not very helpful, either. Also, there is just a small desk in the room - and the fridge occupies half of it. That is a very impractical decision, as there are no other places in the room where you can place your items.

A small thing, but TV options limited. In a town where nothing is going on after dark, you might want to watch a little TV. I wanted to watch a specific baseball game but learned that in order to do so, you have to have your own TV provider back home and enter your own password on the TV. I don't have a TV provider back home so I was out of luck. That's like making you have your own national internet provider in order to use the wifi. Again, a small thing.

Second time we’ve stayed there when traveling through Escalante from Colorado to southern Utah. We love the location. Just around the corner from the Outfitters restaurant. It’s a very rural town and we happened to come when there was a classic car show. The accommodations are very nice in this rustic log cabin lodge. Very cozy. Very clean. Was easy to communicate and even when my app wasn’t cooperating, I was able to contact the owner to get the info I needed.

This room was excellent! The self checkin was extremely easy. The owner was always available and just a phone call or text away. I stayed in the Alpha Den which was great. I loved the wolf motif since I am partial to wolves. It was cozy and had everything you could possibly want. The towels were SO soft and it even had real toilet paper and kleenix which you don't get at many motels. They didn't spare anything. It was just perfect! If I am through this way again, I will definitely stay here. The location was good too, close to market and restaurants and many activities on Hwy 12. I highly recommend!!

Not a thing!

Great location close yo bars, coffee shops and rrsteirdd as by which were within walking distance. BBQ area at the back of the property and seats at the front. Loved the rustic wooden design and the pictures on the wall. Bed was very comfortable and shower great. It was very close to hikes in Grand Escalante Staircase NM

Was shocked by the room size, it was a super cute setup in the room and super nice!

Wish there was a water fountain or water bottles in the room, by the time we got into town everything was closed we didn’t know the town closed down so early and at that point we were unable to get water. I know they offered free coffee which was also great but would have liked to have water as well.

The location was good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a good amount of space and hooks by the door to hang coats etc.

The wifi wasn’t working so I had to walk to the next hotel to use theirs to contact the owner. There was no coffee pot with the coffee maker—I messaged the owner but never received a reply. I could hear everything in the room next door…

An absolutely wonderful room, #3 (“River Bend”). Beautifully crafted in a fishing lodge style, with extraordinary use of wood and wonderful decor. (This is not a bogus review. I enjoyed the space so much I never turned on the TV.)

When I walked in the front door and looked down the hallway, my first thought was, “Am I staying in a well worn Alaska hostel?”
