It is a hotel but more like a lodge. Has everything you need in their little shop. It feels very western which is fun. It is an extremely small town and does seem to be the main hotel. The bathroom had some wear and tear and needed some maintenance updates (squeeks everytime you shift in the shower, peelin wall panels) but was functional. Beds were a little stiff but ok. Pillows a little overstuffed but ok. Super convenient location for Bryce canyon. They did have a nice free buffet breakfast in their restaurant which serves the basics (biscuits, gravy, pancakes, toast, bagels, bacon, potatoes, cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs). Some ppl have complained in reviews about nothing healthy which is accurate but they are serving your classic American hotel breakfast so I'd say it meets expectations.

Very nice hotel with many facilities and spacious, comfortable, clean rooms. Easy parking just outside, and it was very convenient for exploring the Bryce Canyon. The receptionists were all very kind and helpful. After we left, we discovered that we had forgotten an item in our room. The hotel was very quick to find it and respond to me with a solution to send it by post. Thank you! Except for the poor breakfast, we had a super stay. So I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The breakfast buffet was really not good. The food and juice did not taste good and seemed to be low quality. It was clear that they needed to get many people through the buffet in a short time, and it was very crowded and dirty in the buffet area. So I would recommend to bring some breakfast on your own and store it in the fridge in the room.

The room was older, but still updated. Loved the decor. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows. Room has a fridge and microwave. I also loved that the housekeeper dropped off a bag of towels, toiletries, and extra coffee outside our door even though we had the 'do not disturb' sign up when they came by. This is a nice touch. I wish more hotels did this. The buffet breakfast is amazing!

The indoor pool was overcrowded. It is the only indoor pool in Bryce City, so it makes sense to be crowded during winter months but it was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel, and we didn't get to use the facility.

The room was good-sized, clean and it came with a "pod-style" coffee maker (with "liquid" creamers) ... (nice touch for "first-thing-in-the-morning" coffee drinkers). Although we stayed there only one night, we enjoyed the ample selections of the buffet-style dinner, in the hotel's restaurant, and the "included" buffet breakfast the following morning (also with ample selections). Great Location! The only way to stay closer to the park would be "inside" the park itself! There's a large general store, and souvenir shop, (on site) both with a wide variety of goods. The hotel's grounds are huge, and the parking lot appears to have some special sections available for RVs, with what looks like some sort of hookup. Although we only had a limited amount of time to enjoy Bryce Canyon, we will be back! And, when we do, we will definitely stay at the Ruby Inn again!

The room was spacious and met our expectations. Parking was available right in front of the door, and there was plenty of space. There was a nice souvenir shop where we bought a piece of rock from Bryce Canyon. Since we only stayed for one night, we didn't use all the facilities and activities. However, we did browse through the hotel's information booklet, which offered a wide range of options. If you visit this hotel during a warmer period than when we were there (January), there is plenty to do. Additionally, the hotel's location is perfect for visiting Bryce Canyon. You can drive straight into the park from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to the park.

The location was exceptional, situated in close proximity to the park, with a convenient shuttle service available directly across the street during peak season. The staff was efficient and transparent in providing a clear breakdown of charges during check-in. The room was well-maintained, featuring a pleasant shower, effective heating, as well as an ice machine, water station, and complimentary coffee for guest convenience. The breakfast buffet was of high quality, and the hotel also offers a heated pool in the main building, along with a laundry station. Additionally, across the street, there is a gas station, and a grocery store is conveniently located at the main entrance of the hotel.

They could offer some gluten free and vegan choices for the breakfast buffet.

Beautiful location & building…. However, their only elevator is out of order & has been for two months, according to an employee I asked….. I’d prefer to do my hiking in Bryce Canyon, not carrying our luggage, backpacks, laptop, camera equipment, & cooler up three flights of stairs, & climbing back up each time we returned to our room….. Nowhere on their website is the lack of an elevator mentioned, which I find inexcusable after it being broken for two months…..

Only the lack of an elevator….. their only elevator is out of order, & has been broken for two months, according to the employee I asked….. I’d prefer to do my hiking in Bryce Canyon rather than up three flights of stairs each time we returned to our room.

The room was large and I liked the vanity/sink combo and the extra sink in the shower/toilet room. The large screen TV was nice and the beds were comfortable.

1. You have more rooms than parking to accommodate vehicles, I had to park nearly at the other end of the building from my room. Guests should not have had to park so far from their room. Add more parking directly in front of the building/s. 2. The rooms and building need to TLC and upgrades: the door to our room had a large gap at the base and we had to put a rolled towel there to stop cold air from coming in.

Breakfast was a really great buffet that was unexpected—the restaurant staff was really great! We had dinner there the night of our arrival. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place was really quiet.

The desk attendant did not tell us about the complimentary breakfast, and I was fortunate to find a coupon on the table in our room. They also appeared to hit my credit card twice for the cost for the room and I had to straighten that out at the front desk before we left the next day. They were having computer problems and were very busy,so it was understandable. Other than that, no issues.

Rooms were cleaned every day. The restaurant breakfast is very good. It has a broad range of healthy food as well as some less healthy. For the 3 night we stayed we ate in the restaurant in the evening too and had the $14 unlimited soup and salad which is great value for money. The soups are different each day and all were excellent. The range of salad options is great and it all was fresh. The restaurant staff are very helpful, not overly attentive.

We expected some USB / USB-C ports in our room
