The cobbled courtyard for eating evening meal and breakfast was lovely and shaded with vines and greenery. The staff were friendly and helpful.The terrace right by the river was a welcome place for a cool beer after a hot day of cycling.

The railway line passes between the property and the river above flood level height, but wasn’t a problem as we were unaware of any trains using the line.

Fantastic location by the river and close to the town centre, friendly reception, lovely rooms, amazing breakfast in the garden and dinner in the restaurant by the Danube, loved the little swimming pond - GREAT in the heat

It was a very hot day and no air conditioning meant that we struggled to sleep despite windows wide open, but that is certainly not a deal breaker

Beautiful guesthouse right on the Danube. Lovely space and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast in the leafy courtyard with a couple of cute cats for company. Good bicycle storage.

Our window looked directly out on to the raised train station platform over the road. Trains were rare but sometimes people waiting for trains were directly opposite our first floor room.

Tha Goldenen Anker is a small quirky hotel. It is close to the cycle route that we were following. The staff were friendly and helpful. The belreakfast was very good.

The room would have benefitted from having a fan because the weather was very warm.

Good location. Very close to the air port, Less than 40 minutes. Just 20km to Bratislava. Not so far and walkable to the city center and a big shopping center. Close to the riverbank. Walking along Danube River is very impressive. Traditional but clean and well equipped room. Fine view through the window. Really enjoyed perfect atmosphere of the hotel.

No lift to the platform. Had a hard time to bring up my heavy suitcase.

A very pleasant and quiet retreat, charming and tastefully designed, combining old and new and breathing of the art-affinity of the owners. The harmonious garden and the natural pool soothe one's soul.

The location beside the tracks surprised me BUT the hotel was a delightful surprise. The courtyard suggested another era. However, my room was perfect for me AND the dining room ( and buffet breakfast) was excellent. Would return in a minute...

Charming hotel with so much character and really beautiful bedroom, with gorgeous antique furniture. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and check we had everything we needed.

Beautiful converted farm house, with a very relaxing and romantic vibe. The staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

The romantic suite had 2 single mattresses, one double mattress would have been nicer :)
