To be honest, we booked a double room with private bathroom in Old Town Hostel only because this was the only available option during a very busy weekend in Bratislava (the AC/DC concert), that didn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. What we ended up with was actually ridiculously cheap and we weren't disappointed at all. The public space of the hostel is great, the location is perfect to explore the old part of the city on foot, close to shops, restaurants, etc., water pressure is good, room had AC.

There's no access to natural light, so this might be a bit bothersome, but if you're using the room just to sleep, it's fine. There's not really a good isolation, so if neighbors are not respectful about noise, it could be a trouble.

The airconditioning was a lifesaver in summer. Very clean shower with good ventilation and decent water pressure. Comfy beds and clean soft towels. The room felt homey. The common areas were spacious and nice. There's a machine with basic necessities and snacks where you can pay with card. Cat cafe and convenience store literally nextdoor!

We arrived in winter time and we were pleasantly surprised about the temperature, we could warm up fully in complete privacy in the winter season. We could prepare food in cozy kitchen. There is Smart TV in the room. Everything was super clean, functionional, comfy. Very nice. Helenka the care taker is very sweet person, warm. We fully recommand. Its good for the night stay stay/resting because there are no windows.

There are no windows in the room so we could'nt get fresh air, but air conditioner was making it still nice for stay.

The location was great, right on the edge of the old town and easy walking distance to everything. Just a few minutes from the SNP bus stop. The room was very spacious for just me and there are plenty of bathrooms.

There needs to be a curtain over the bedroom window as even though the glass is frosted it still lets in a lot of light. Noise from the common area echoes very easily too. The kitchen was very basic. Only one pan, but just enough to prepare a simple breakfast. The pillows are very soft and the TV was against the same wall as my bed, so I couldn't see it from there and there were no chairs in the room to use instead.

The room was lovely and outstandingly clean. The bathroom was also very clean and comfortable to use. The hostel is in an excellent location, in an area with a great view of the city, and close to several delightful cafés. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The room got a bit hot at night, since there were no windows to the outdoors for our room. While the bathroom was very clean, there were only a few smalls towels for use, so it's worth packing your own if you stay here.

Fantastic location right near the castle and old town. Very easy to get to everything we wanted to see. Room was very clean and comfortable and facilities had everything we needed. We was a little concerned there was no private bathroom option when booking but the shared bathroom had plenty of private space, I didnt see anyone else using this so it felt like our own bathroom anyway and right next door to our room. Would highly recommend this hostel

Room was very hot with the aircon not working. Rarely saw any staff to mention this too but this didn't effect our stay

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable to use. It is conveniently located for the old town and the castle, and not too far from a supermarket and a tram stop.

The room door handle keyless entry was a bit fiddly. You have to type a pin into the handle and the first number tended not to register unless you first lick your finger! Once a wrong number is entered it needs several attempts before it displays the full set of numbers again. It is quite a hike with luggage in tow to get there.

Everything was great, especially Helena! She was very nice. She could even speak Spanish, which was impressive. There's also vending machine inside with snacks, but also some toiletries. Air conditioning was nice. The place is located next to this cat cafe, which was amazing!

The only thing I didn't like was that at times, it was loud in the kitchen area. Since the place is very "homey", families act like they're at home -> kids running around, people talking loud on the phone. I even had a whistler during my stay. Everything echos, so it's quite loud. Fortunately, this mostly happens in the morning or when people are checking in, and not in the evening. Bathrooms could smell better!

This is not a classical hostel. It’s rather a stylish hostel with well thought installations. Rooms are not shared, each room has a private bathroom outside (we could lock ours so nobody else uses by mistake). Everything was clean and the guests were not noisy, I guess due to the fact that the price tag is too high for typical young and noisy hostel guests you would expect to see elsewhere. Speaking of price: For the rate we booked months before, it’s a good value place. But when I checked rates to extend, it would cost double. So for what I paid it was a nice stay but it’s not worth double the price tag. My review score is based on what I paid and we spent a comfortable night

Great hostel in Bratislava Old Town. Set on a hill. Room was good size with 3 single beds split across 2 areas plus ensuite bathroom which was dated but clean and fully functional. Great access with keycode/fob entry. Felt safe at all times. Nice airy communal areas. Good little shops and mini supermarket nearby. Pleasant 5-10 minute walk into city centre. Close to old city walls and castle.

Bathroom could do with a refresh but not a big deal especially for price paid.
