The apartment was well equipped and in a very convenient spot for the Old Town and the main tourist sights. Shops near by for food etc. Restaurants in close proximity and many coffee shops. Free underground secure parking was brilliant. Most appliances and cookware etc. were in new condition. Dish washer was a bonus and the supply of tablets etc. Good sized fridge and freezer for longer stays.

One way system to get there is problematic but this is not the fault of the apartment. We found the shower allowed water to spread over into the bathroom dry area. A shower curtain or door would be a good idea.

The apartment was very clean, with all the facilities you needed, good position in the old town + the underground parking. The access was easy and the communication with the host was very efficient(answering my questions and solving our problems immediately - when we asked the towels to be changed, they did it, even if it is not the normal procedure). I sincerely recommend this accomodation.

We had a great stay at City Castle apartments. Firstly, it is in a great location, very quiet & only a 10 minute stroll to the centre. The apartment was as described, very modern with everything you would need, including shower gel, washing up liquid & dish towel. It was also very clean. We were coming here with our friends but unfortunately a few days before the booking our friend had some very sad news about his mother & was unable to travel. As soon as the management team were notified they immediately offered my friend a refund. When we arrived there was some confusion with the cancellation as the whole booking had been cancelled. I spoke with Jano who was great, very proactive & resolved the problem very quickly & efficiently. While we were there, my wife fell ill so we decided to try & extend our stay as she wasn't fit to travel. We were aware that booking.com had no availability but Jano again stepped up & managed to accomodate us. We have used booking.com all over the world & I would say that the management here have been the best we have ever encountered. Jano even sent us messages saying to contact him if we needed anything which was refreshing as we knew that he meant it. Next time we come to Bratislava we will be staying here. Thank you team.

Very quiet, very secure building, just a few minutes walk from the Michael's Gate entrance to the old city. The apartment was very, very clean, almost sterile. It practically seemed like we were the first people to stay there. Very modern design, almost felt like science fiction at times. Lots of storage space. On-site garage parking is a huge bonus if you are driving. Look for the garage entrance painted with a "City Castle" logo. Pedestrian entrance is to the left of that, clearly marked no.4.

Doors are the type to lock upon closing, so double check you have your keys when going out. Also, there is a another door between the elevator and the apartments which also locks on closing. This one could have been a safety problem, however, because sometimes we found it double locked, ie, requiring the key to unlock the door to exit. This would have been bad in the event of a fire or other emergency.

We had an overnight stop in Bratislava and we choose the accomodation as it was close to the city center, it had an underground garage parking and also pet friendly, these were our most important criterias. The owners were very helpful and the communication was really smooth. The accomodation is a 5 minutes walk from the old city center, we received some good recommendations for restaurants as well. I mainly appreciated that we received a bowl and a bed for my dog. The appartment was clean, comfortable, quiet. We will totally choose it once again when we will be visiting Bratislava.

Everything was perfect.

Spacious, clean and practical apartment. VERY comfortable beds! Thorough instructions and plenty of information. Excellent parking and nice host! Good security in the building and it's very close to the center.

The shower is not well sealed, and floods the bathroom. Instead of putting in that parting wall, a bigger shower would have been better. Not their fault but on our second day, someone in their building was drilling the walls... from 8AM to the 8PM, non stop noise. It was very warm, so couldn't use the duvet. I had to use a mattress cover instead. A thin sheet/blanket for warmer days would be nice.

AC was a huge advantage for our stay as the weather was above 30! The location is great, 5-10 minute walk to the old town. There was also a dishwasher available with tablets included, all the necessary dishes, big fridge. The property has a covered parking space and the entire access throughout the building has a high level security.

It was great to have a balcony but there was no view whatsoever. It would also be great to have access to the inner garden. No coffee machine was a huge downside. The doorbell rang every night at 1am: we first thought it was someone from the outside, but later figured the pattern, and at this point it was already too late to get in contact with the host. TV could be easily installed in the bedroom instead.

Apartment was new and large. There are several floors with apartments, well organized. There is a private garage, parking included in the room rate. The elevater will bring you directly to the apartment floor. Not so easy to find your way in upon arrival, but the host was immediately available on whatsapp to give directions. The location is amazing, directly beside Falkensteiner hotel.

Nothing to dislike. But there is space for improvement. The large balcony would need additional furniture, and some plants. Kitchen is well equipped, but plates look cheap. There was no coffee machine (Nescafe would provide them for free) or kettle, but lots of teas, no coffee, no sugar.. The TV is very small. They seem to save money on the wrong side. The entire apartment block with garage must have cost a fortune, and apartments are large and clean. Attention to improve the comfort of guests will make it the perfect appartment house.
