Hotel has exceptional location, very nice renovated in old architectural style. We had a stay in "romantic room". The size of room is exceptional, and also very clean, the bathroom is great.

Very large room but unpractical .... bed on the upper floor, without near toilet, without TV ... lower floor, almost impossible to watch TV as sofa and chairs were very small and uncomfortable. Windows impossible to open and dirty so the described view offered on booking doesn't exist. Breakfast, decent but not according to photos on the booking and doesn't suit for 4-star hotel. Coffee ... coffee maker mentioned on the booking as a benefit, but it is additionally charged.

The location was par to none. It was right in the Old Town, walking distance to each and every attraction. Since the Old Town is a pedestrianised area, the fact that the hotel is in the Old Town itself is quite fantastic. In fact, we only caught a taxi to visiting Hrad Devin which was too far away to walk; the rest, even to Slavin which was not in the Old Town area was still not that far away. It was only a 30 minute walk away and we did it at a leisurely pace on a Sunday.

The breakfast was quite lacking for a 4 star hotel. There was not much variety and when they ran out of a particular item sometimes you had to personally flag them to replenish it. Little things such as the fact that there was no skimmed milk available, no low fat yoghurts, no jams, no fresh unpeeled fruits such as banana etc led toto my breakfast being quite limited which was a pity as the rest of the hotel was fab.

The rooms were spacious and so clean, and the location was just perfect! We walked almost every where the whole weekend we stayed in the city. The reason I chose to stay at the hotel was because of the breakfast selection and it did not disappoint! They had such an amazing spread of options to choose from and everything was really nice! Food was fresh and the servers were quick to refill dishes and take away plates when needed. I would stay here again just for the breakfast! The garage was just a few metres away and fairly priced at €30/24 hours but if you need a taxi the end of pedestrian zone is only a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed anything.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully decorated, and truly romantic. The accommodation was peaceful, and the location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. The only minor point to note is that there is a church next door, and the bells tolled at 7:30am and 8:30am (perhaps later as well, but we headed to breakfast since we were already awake). However, this didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect stay. We would definitely return!

This is an incredible hotel - one of the best ones I've ever visited. It's a charming place full of character and history, but updated so comfortably. My room was huge, complete with a sitting room, a very comfortable bed, big bathroom, even a fan. There was an exposed brick wall that just gave it so much character. The breakfast was superb - so many warm and cold options, all very yummy. The staff were very helpful with any issue that I approached them with. And the location is right in the heart of the old town - 2 minutes from everything.

I can't think of one issue at this hotel - it is a treasure!

Wonderful location, almost at the main town square. Beautiful hotel in a very old what seems to be a historical building. Our room was of a weird shape, but nonetheless very comfortable and spacious. Beautifully decorated to match the old building. And very quiet inside. I think this hotel had the best breakfast selection out of all places I've stayed. Everything is fresh and looks attractive. Probably the most interesting assortment of foods and at the same time everything was super tasty. Would come back for that breakfast 😁

The beds might've been a bit softer.

Stunning building, very cleverly modernised (keeping the gorgeous room doors intact by putting the electronic panel on the wall instead), fantastic location, attentive and well informed staff: for instance, we had asked about parking due to our car being too high for the underground parking and the night receptionist had been informed and accompanied us to a special parking! The next morning the day shift knew we’d arrived late and asked if all had gone well with the parking - without having met us before. Great breakfast :)

The hotel itself is beautiful and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and they helped us print some documents as well which was really appreciated. The room was large and bed was very comfy. The breakfast was very good with a variety of choices and the sparking wine for mimosas was a nice touch. The hotel could not be more central and very well located. Despite this it quiet and we were not disturbed despite being in the city centre.

There were a few hairs in the bathroom on arrival and the carpet hadn’t been hoovered which was a bit off putting. In addition if you want your room making up each day you have to ask for it. The shower wasn’t great with poor pressure and very difficult to control the temperature. There was no iron in the room either which was frustrating for us as we had been traveling for a while so everything was creased but may not be a big issue for others.

The location was fantastic.. close to everything . Beautiful hotel full of history. The breakfast was very good and the posecco was a lovely touch especially at New Year. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. A special thank you to Kristina who helped us with our New Year booking. No need to bring shower gel and shampoo. Those provided were so nice. Tips. Bar 17 opposite the American embassy. The garlic soup was outstanding. The Cuba Bar and the black dog were our favourite bars .

Located right in the downtown, walking distance form the main attractions, yet quiet. Cute and elegant. Room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy. Quick and easy check-in and check-out. They have an amazing breakfast!

Room furniture and design a bit outdated but still in great shape. No own garage, one can park very close by in a public parking house. Daily rate at 30EUR seems high for Bratislava.
