Everything was clean, the showers are enjoyable, sockets next to each bed make them even comfier :) The location is perfect and the ambience is calm especially in the morning being in the cafe downstairs is beautiful and relaxing next to a busy street. I felt very welcomed by the staff there, richard and lubos are doing an amazing job there and were quick to help when i had an issue with the pin code, The 2 Danielas were the kindest and most helpful people on earth and they make the place magical. There was also a third Daniel who was a guest and he taught me how to do the techno salsa in the techno club next to the hostel and we didnt even have to pay for the entry :) Im glad for making my booking.

We stayed in both a shared dorm and private room, and both were amazing! Compared to previous mixed dorms, the shared dorm here tops them all! The addition of a curtain really adds privacy to the stay, it’s not much but it makes a huge difference! And the private room was great! Very spacious and just what we needed after a stint of staying in shared rooms!

Location is perfect, but also makes it veryyy loud on a weekend night. Not hostel’s fault but it was really annoying, especially when windows had to be open because it was too hot

Perfect location, and overall value for money was perfect for a cozy stay in Bratislava. The staff thought of many things prior to arrival in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and secure amenities to make a guest's stay as convenient as possible. Wifi access and QR codes handy for any questions to orient guests in their stay. The cafe is also charming and gives a welcoming flair to the place :)

QR codes were mostly helpful, although recommendations neutrally listed tours. Perhaps an interactive map of some sort could also be helpful for first time guests? Being a virtual check in hostel, I am still getting used to the limited interaction with people, but I think my hosts did well with evaluating overall needs and provided much to the overall stay.

I stayed at Schöndorf Hostel and had a generally good experience. I stayed in an 8-bed room. It was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The hostel is centrally located, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just a 5-minute walk away – very convenient. There was no staff on-site, but communication via email was quick and helpful. A small shared kitchen was available, which was useful.

The check-in process was not completely straightforward – I received several codes, and at first, it was confusing which one to use. The entrance code didn’t work, but later I realized that I only needed to use the room code for both the main door and the room.

A hostel in which the beds have curtains!!!!! Fantastic. Excellent location as well as it was like a 10-15 minute car ride to the bus station located in the Nivy Centrum mall or a short 15-20 minute tram ride in which the stop is probably a 3 minute walk away. The bathrooms are great, separated by gender but also by toilet & sink vs shower and sink so you’re not stranded if someone’s showering. Lockers are like American High school lockers so a bit tiny. Gets the job done to secure your valuables. That’s about it!

No air or ventilation. The AC works but hardly cooled the room, also because one girl kept opening the windows so her laundry could dry. But she was doing laundry each of the 3 days I was there. So the cold air escapes. Almost wished the windows just wouldn’t open. But when they were open it was super noisy because the room overlooks the street in which the tram travels upon and a street filled with businesses so it’s understandable it’s noisy. Also wished they advised ahead of time that if you need to check in prior to 3pm, there’s a charge. The shower curtains also don’t really do much so if you entered the bathroom after someone showered, you were kind of stepping into swampy puddles.

I really liked the virtual reception and it was easy to do as well as the access to the hostel with the code. The hostel is very new and you have nice amenities with air conditioner. I stayed in a 12-room shared room but it was only me and another guy. There are good lockers with code. The coffee downstairs is lovely and it was great to go there and work. Great location. 10 min by bus to the bus station and walkable distance to everywhere.

It is not possible to cook because the kitchen only has microwave. Few showers and bathrooms, but in my case it wasn’t a problem because we were staying only 2 people in the room, but if more people stay there it could be an issue.

The common room was lovely and welcoming. The rooms are spacious with plenty of hanging space. Location was ideal! The cameras and gates locks felt secure. The terrace is great for a morning coffee in the sunshine.

My locker kept glitching and if wasn't for the helpful girl in the cafe who called someone I wouldn't have been able to get my things out. The Chatbot would not put me through to a 'Live agent'. The curtains across the beds don't stretch all the way which limits privacy. Would be good to have shampoo available not just body wash.

The hostel is located in the city centre, very convenient to get to the main sights. The room and the bathroom were both clean, blowdryer available. The beds have curtains, though those are not long enough to cover all the way through. Can't say anything about the kitchen because I didn't use it. The online check-in was easy as well, had no problems with the pin-codes, so didn't have to contact support, but they do have stickers with qr codes to contact someone in case you do struggle with something. Overall a very enjoyable experience for a fair price.

The pin codes on the lockers are a bit loud, which shouldn't usually be that big of a deal, but some of my roommates used them at night, which woke me up :/ Another thing to keep in mind that at least for the dorm rooms there's only one men's and one women's toilet and bathroom, wasn't an issue for me since not many people stayed this time, but might not be as great during peak travelling seasons :D
