Absolutely delighted with my choice. The position was second to none, and an easy check in with helpful staff. Great facilities and very very clean. I had a twin room with an amazing view over roof tops and St Michael's gate. The hostel was lovely and quiet and I had the use of a coffee machine in the shared kitchen. It would have been possible to make a meal, but I ate out. My room was a good size, and the bed was extremely comfortable. If I ever return to Bratislava, I would definitely stay at this accommodation again. I also think it would be perfect for couples, friends, solo travellers and indeed families. Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in!

The location is perfect, it’s in the heart of the Old Town and only a very short walk to bars, restaurants and public transport. It’s extremely clean and well looked after. The staff are lovely too. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine that is free to use, it’s stacked with utensils and basic ingredients for food. Bathrooms are very clean and a there’s a choice of 3 to use on one floor. There is also a deli store across from the accommodation so if I needed snacks or a drink it was a 30 second walk.

For me, I found it quite noisy at night time. The night before my flight home I struggled to sleep but it’s what I expected being in the middle of the nightlife. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, but other people might not agree.

The staff was friendly and answered the queries with smile. Rooms & Bathrooms are clean. Water pressure and heating was great. Provided Towel as courtesy. Had booked a bed in hostel for 4 nights and the team kindly upgraded me to 3 bed private room. Check in /check out process was straightforward.. Just a note, if you are going to have late check in, let them know in advance ,so that they can arrange keeping room key in locker inside hostel. There are two entrance (main entrance which also entrance for public toilet and usually open till 10 pm (can be opened with key pad code) and hostel entraxe (again with key pad) and the rooms will have physical keys..

WiFi signal is relatively weaker in corner of rooms. Would have been nice to have shower gel in bathroom (considering it's hostel, wasn't deal breaker though)

Reception was manned so easy to arrive. WiFi and bed fine. One bathroom had a window so was pleasant. Location was spot on- worth paying a premium for. Advert for spooky tour in evening was exactly what I wanted so I got to do a quick walking tour on my transit through for the airport with zero effort into research.

All the brits that I left the UK to avoid drunkenly shouting under the window from 10pm onwards. There was air on to cool the room otherwise but if you like air fresh not just cool, bring earplugs…. Coffee machine wrapped up in a throw in the morning? It had been working the day before so not sure what that was about?!

Anyone who wants to visit Bratislava, only has to book at Hostel Zero. The location is more than wonderful and the young man at the reception desk, unfortunately I did not know his name, was cheerful, helpful and more than wonderful. His wonderful reception was enough, and we were let into the room before our time due to his cooperation. I really thank you very much for everything wonderful from the beginning of your wonderful reception of us. In the end, you are in Hostel Zero, you do not need anything, you are in the heart of Bratislava

The internet is weak most of the time but it's not a big problem.

When I asked for recommendation for restaurants museums yang girl in hostel doesn't know and doesn't give me. When we check out another girl told me ohhhh sorry there is no space for your luggage we was 9 persons and 3 of us was child's we just come for long weekend with tiny backpack. ..........come on very disappointed. Also in hostel there is no hostel rules like be quiet after 22:00 and between 14:00 and 16:00 All around the world that is a quiet hour .

This is a great option for a room for a few days. I liked that it was quite clean, and, of course, the location is trumps - right next to the Michalska Tower. The kitchen is worth mentioning separately: it is convenient and I liked that you did not skimp on the coffee machine =) It even exceeded some of my expectations!

However, I would mention only a few things that are not catastrophic, but could be improved. Definitely the lack of soundproofing: I was constantly woken up every morning against my will, as every step or word was heard from the corridor. Secondly, the water pressure in the shower cabins – it was sometimes difficult to wash. And the last thing is the entrance: you have to go through a public toilet every time you enter the hostel, so although not romantic, it's not such a big problem.

The location of Hostel ZERO was absolutely perfect and couldn't be better positioned to be in the centre of Bratislava Old Town. Our room had a table and two chairs which we loved and the room was a great size for 2. There were 4 bathrooms to access. The beds were very comfortable and all the sheets, pillows and towels were provided. On arrival we were met by a very friendly member of staff who signed us in, showed us round and gave us our key along with codes for access to the hostel once he had gone. The kitchen was also lovely to have - fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and all the cutlery, plates and saucepans you would need if cooking. We were so glad we chose to stay at Hostel ZERO.

Unfortunately the showers in the bathrooms were little more than a dribble so disappointing. If you like a cold shower it was a bit stronger!

Location was perfect. I stayed two nights in a single room. The room was very clean. You share three bathrooms with other guests but somehow bathrooms were always spotless. If you are traveling solo like me and you are looking for budget friendly places, highly recommended.

Sometimes the noise bothered me, particularly from the German kids traveling with their family,but it’s a hostel, so be prepared for that

Great location in the old town, the bed was comfy, and the amenities were good although this was a shared set up there is three bathrooms so never had any issues with that.

Unfortunately the shower is a bit under powered but that’s a preference thing on my part other than that no other issue
