Vary spacious and in a very convenient location ,close to the old city!

The amenities at the bathroom were not sufficient for two people. And even though the apartment was ready earlier than 15.00,they’ve asked us for an extra charge of 35€ to have it!

The check-in and check-out experience was easy and very detailed, no surprises or issues, and the host was always quick to respond. Comfortable furnishings and spacious bathroom. The coffee provided was a nice touch. Perfectly situated just outside the Old Town gate within view of the Presidential Palace - it was easy to get anywhere from here.

There was a fair bit of noise from the street below, but it was a Friday night so it is understandable. Running the aircon helped to drown out the noise.

Ambiente Apartments are located in the city center of Bratislava just across the Presidential Palace and with a great connection to major public transport. The check-in is smooth as the staff provide instructions ahead of the stay. The apartments are compact and cozy and meet the requirements of a short stay for a couple. The apartment has a coffee machine and washing machine which are an added bonus to the facilities.

Mostly everything was fine, the apartment was well equipped with Ikea style furniture with ample space for storage in large cpuboars.. The kitchen had all the basic utensils and oven, stove, fridge. The bathroom was also fine with hairdryer and washing machine. The location is very good, two blocks from the old town. Although the windows face a really busy street, the noise isolation is adequate, the noise was not disturbing at all.

Instead of the huge (much too big for the small living room) TV set, a microwave could be more useful. There was one thing I really did not like, that even though the accommodation was paid ahead, on the morning an additional 100 Euros were charged on my card without any warning and without my consent. True, when they charged, I got an email saying that it was only a holding, not a charge. But I feel that without my consent, this is absolutely unacceptable, as the funds might not have been available, or might have been needed to pay for other expenses during the trip, and this holding could have caused an inconvenience.

The location, the facilities, the practicalities, beautiful apartment, very clean, soft bed, and there is a bath, wifi and tv!

The only reason I’m giving it 9 stars instead of 10 is because the apartment is next to a quite busy street, but that is what happens when you stay in the city center, in a perfect location. As a light sleeper it was sometimes a bit rough to try to sleep

Great location for city centre. Comfy and clean, I highly recommend it from this point of view. Parking is problematic, the parking garages in the centre are ridiculously expensive, and parking on the street can’t be done around that building. Make sure you get the cheaper version of parking they offer you a few days before your arrival (17 eur/night is about as good an offer as you’ll get, we thought we could outsmart this and we thought wrong).

I hate this new trend - it’s everywhere, not just with hotel stays. Get an upgrade - 4 eur/night to have a Nespresso machine & pods. A glass of champagne. A room at a higher floor. The coffee is worth it (and parking, as stated above). But still it gives you the sensation that they are pecking away at your pockets.

Location is great and basically a 5 min walk if that to the old town - Can be noisy at night with traffic down below but its in a city centre and I would expect that.

If anything it would be helpful if some basic toiletries were left in the apartment for guests - (shower gel, soap, shampoo etc

Everything was great, very comfortable and well furnished apartment. Great view on the castle from the balcony on the 6th floor! Check in and check out were very easy and well indicated.

It was perfect. I would have just hoped to have some small amenities like shower gel and shampoo.

Excellent location. Easy check in. Had everything we needed. Very spacious, especially as we are a traveling family of 3.

The curtains in the living room are thick and dark. Would be helpful to have similar in the bedroom as there is a lot of light coming off the street at night.

Excellent location, clean and secure. Comfortable beds Clean and powerful showers <5min walk to historic centre and main high street area. 10min walk to bus station (well lit walk at 0230am) 15-20min walk from train station. Excellent WiFi So much storage.

Quite warm at night with Aircon only in the living room and noisy with the windows open in the bedroom. Very light in the mornings with thin curtains.
