We upgraded to a cabana and were so glad we did - the sense of space and peace was amazing. The food is outstanding quality, from the amuse bouche, to the fresh ingredients used from the gardens. The rum tasting was a fabulous experience, delivered expertly with humour, ease and in which I learnt so much - thank you Fabian.

Altitude plays a part in moving around the resort with ease - that's nothing to do with the hotel, just a nod to being aware that you could get puffy where usually walking is easy!

Beautiful setting, great accommodations, the restaurant was superb and the staff super helpful. Want to come back for more days and partake on some of their planned activities. Gorgeous sunset!

All was superb, wish water was a tad hotter, but understand the eco concept. It was hot enough.

The bungalow was spacious, clean and quiet. The staff went above and beyond to make us happy- especially Fabian. The food was my favorite of the 5 weeks we spent in Columbia - fresh, healthy and flavorful. Also enjoyed the chocolate and rum tastings. A beautiful and restful place!

I came here with my girlfriend just for a night and it far exceeded our expectations. Right from the beginning, the staff was incredible. They had us skip check in because they wanted to make sure we got lunch. During lunch the owner came out to say hi and chatted with us for a bit. Then the food came out and it was amazing. Like, really good. Actually the food the entire time was some of the best I've had in Colombia after living here for a while. We stayed in a bungalow and the room was very spacious and had a great view. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

By far the best place I've ever stayed. We woke up too late to get breakfast, but dinner the night before was phenomenal. Definitely worth a look if you want to treat your loved one.

The drive was long on a dirt road, it's in a rural area. The Uber driver got really upset.

The staff was amazing. They arranged my airport taxis for both arrival/departure. They would send driver's info thru WhatsApp to ensure safety. Upon arrival they escort you to your cabana. The rooms are beautiful, minimalist, and kept cool due to the architectural design. The food with their on-property gardens are top notch. One of the co-owners Brian also took the whole group on a permaculture tour explaining the concepts behind Cannua. Can't wait to make it back

Cannua was the highlight of our trip! Everything from the moment we came to the moment we left was perfect. The staff is incredibly helpful and the attention to detail in everything makes it perfect! Food is amazing, very refined.

We stayed one night only in a Cabana high up on the hillside which had an amazing view and was well-constructed and well-equipped overall (the twin bed was not particularly comfortable but the king size one was very comfortable and the bedding was high quality). The bamboo ceiling is very cool and special and it was great to have a balcony though there were no chairs to sit on. We missed having a way to make coffee though we were told that they are in the process of equipping the rooms with coffee presses. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and well trained. Staying at the Cannua Lodge is a very special experience and I am sure we will be back in the future. Their commitment to sustainability and permaculture is admirable.

Overall the presentation of the food was beautiful though the quality was uneven. I ordered the 'Pacifico' dish of seafood in a kind of tamale. The seafood was overcooked and neither the texture nor the flavor was right. Several dishes were too salty. We ordered a salad to share that was delicious and gorgeously presented. The guava and cream dessert was delicious. So pretty good overall but definitely room for improvement in the kitchen especially considering the cost per dish.

Incredibly beautiful surroundings and a very comfortable stay. Excellent food!

The location is breathtaking and gives you a chance to truly disconnect and relax. The food is excellent especially the on site produced vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the owner is always available for a chat about the philosophy of the hotel and the concept of permaculture. If you are in to rum I would def recommend you to do the rum tasting which was my personal highlight.
