The tranquility and serenity of this location are captivating, but above all, the exceptional cuisine here stands out. The cabins are beautiful and fully equipped. The view is so peaceful and inspires you to more places like this.

They need to improve the information about how to get into the location. They need to inform the place is located by turning left just right after passing La Pausa entry. But after arriving, there's no better place to be.

It was amazing to use a jacuzzi at night in the outdoors. Food can be delivered to your room.

There’s no heating/cooling so bring appropriate clothing - it was cold for us. The jacuzzi takes 3 hours to fill so message in advance if you want it ready as this wasn’t offered.

The location far exceeded my expectations for an elevated clamping experience. The cabin was clean, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for weekend getaway with my partner after a busy work trip in Medellin. Directions were clear, and very easy to follow. Service was exceptional, and staff was super attentive. Breakfast was included and very good. Meals, bar, and mini bar were extra, but very reasonably priced, no sticker shock at all. Dinner was delicious and portions quite large. We were also able to request additional firewood for a very small fee, to extend our enjoyment of the evening fire pit. We also fell in love with the sweet dogs on the property. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again.

We seemed to have limited hot water, mostly night one when we used the hot tub and shower on the same night. It was not a huge issue and to be expected in a rustic glamping environment. Otherwise, we loved everything about this stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Porto Marina, nestled beautifully between El Peñol and Guatapé, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. This serene retreat is a hidden gem, perfectly situated on the banks of a tranquil water source, surrounded by lush trees that enhance the sense of calm and connection to nature. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful ambiance. The hotel offers a perfect escape for anyone looking to do some soul searching or simply unwind in a serene environment. I spent my mornings sipping coffee by the water and basking in the beauty of my surroundings—truly rejuvenating! The dining experience at the LIMA restaurant was another highlight of my stay. Each meal was a delight, with a menu that showcased delicious, locally-inspired dishes. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, offering a variety of options that catered to every palate. I found myself looking forward to each meal! What truly sets Hotel Porto Marina apart is its exceptional staff. Every team member was polite, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, making me feel right at home. In summary, Hotel Porto Marina is a tranquil oasis that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Whether you're looking to relax, reflect, or simply enjoy great food in a beautiful setting, this hotel has it all. I can’t wait to return!

The staff are outstanding! The setting is beautiful, The food and breakfast was super! Relaxing? I’m unsure, it’s noisy and bars were playing loud music until 3am. Not the hotels fault.

The cabin was tired and unloved, sticky tacky things all over walls, water poured inside in several places, kitchen appliances and glasses really understocked. Cabins are Massively cramped in and close to each other and was not private at all, you could hear every giggle and conversation from neighbours in the early hours of the morning. I barely slept for 4 nights. Cabin was also cold and asked for heater and told there were none and had to wear extra jumpers and jackets inside.

Wow! What a view! The rooftop jacuzzi and nightly firepit were perfect. Beautiful location and surroundings. Lovely fresh breakfast too. Cooking facilities in your cabana so you can rustle up something to eat on the balcony. The owners have some friendly dogs (Mona and Migo) that would come and see us each day and bask in the sunshine with us. Viee of Pablo Escabar's Summer House from cabana's 13-1/.

As mrntionef in other reviews, tbere can be people in other cabana's playing music very late at night. We even heard someone letting off fireworks at 04:00 so it wasn't as tranquil as we had expected.

the staff is very nice and helpful. very welcoming and helpful. the cabins are very nice and quiet and the view is great. we had side view not a front one but it was beautiful. the bed was confortable to sleep and there was hot water which is a luxury in Colombia. we had a very good breakfast!

I did not like the many spiders in th lobby area and i had to ask for big spider web to be remove from my room. No mosquito net in th rooms. but i had my own so i used mine and the staff kindly help me set it up. the jacuzzi was not ready when we arrived despite the message when booking to ask for it to be ready and it took 2 hours to fill up! also the jacuzzi was not very clean.

Amazing, stylish place. Loved fire they set for you in the evening, the jacuzzi, reception staff was extremely kind and helpfull. They organised everything for us and communication was super easy though WhatsApp. Restaurant is really great and their room service is a great bonus. We loved having dinner and breakfast served to our room. Beds were super comfortable.

It is a little far from Guatape, so make sure to always have a contact for transfers and call in advance. Also, the last few meters are a dirt road, but nothing terrible. Maybe adding a possibility of hotel transfer to Guatape by boat would be great. They can of course organise that for you, but it Is really expensive, so having a hotel boat would be a great bonus.

The staff was great, the kitchen cooks and servers like Sandra, Bryan and Jorge was awesome. And the receptionist like laura and jessica were always helpful for whatever we needed it. It was luxury service .

The only thing is the Cabin we stayed had too many trees covering the view of the lake but that is it, nothing else we didn’t like and even that was minuscule.

Perfect location, beautiful scenery and comfortable rooms. Food was great, bonfire service and hot tub are great features. Staff is very helpful and friendly, they keep good communication with guests.

Unfortunately other guests are the problem, a large amount of people bring their own speakers and like blasting music throughout their stay without caring too much about other guests. The hotel is kind enough to have a policy of turning down music by 11pm, but in my opinion they should plainly ban blasting speakers outdoors.
