Great place to stay in the Pudong area, Hotel is modern and clean with comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast is served with a wide variety of Chinese dishes buffet or continental options. There is a subway metro line 400 meter walk from the hotel

The staff is friendly, but not speaking English, and need to use a translation application. The hotel is located far from the city center.

It was nice and fresh.

While my stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, there were two aspects that I found disappointing. Firstly, the breakfast selection was heavily focused on Chinese cuisine, with most dishes being spicy or oily. As someone who isn’t accustomed to such flavors in the morning, I found it challenging to enjoy the meal. I would have appreciated a wider variety of international options—such as pastries, cottage cheese, or lighter Western-style dishes—to cater to guests from different backgrounds. Secondly, the English proficiency of the staff was quite limited. This made it difficult to communicate even basic requests, which at times caused confusion and inconvenience. Improving language skills among the staff would significantly enhance the experience for international visitors.

At the Holiday Inn Pudong Shanghai, you'll be greeted by helpful and professional staff. The rooms, known for their cleanliness, brightness, and spaciousness, are comfortable retreats. While some are windowless, the hotel’s location is near various restaurants, coffee shops, and the Zhongke Road Metro (Line 13), which adds to its appeal. Lukin Coffee and Family Mart are just a few metres away, with a McDonald's next to the reception/entrance area. A mall within walking distance also offers more dining and shopping options.

The food was quite good in quality, but the breakfast choices were almost identical each day, so I did not go on sometimes during my stay.

Property was a little too warm for comfortable sleep in the evening. Mention this to the property however, should’ve requested a fan or if that was an option should’ve been offered a fan by staff.

The staff were fantastic. They helped with ordering taxis and general questions and were very helpful and attentive. Would stay again.

Unfortunately the breakfast area was in repair and so the hotel breakfast was MacDonalds. It was the only negative.

TV channels are all in Chinese, I would have liked a few English channels.

Breakfast was ok, location is kinda quiet. Basic necessity is available. The room was clean and comfortable. The smart room was equip with voice control.

Everything was alright except the location is a bit quiet.

The nutritious breakfast was great every day! I enjoyed eating a healthy breakfast every morning!
