The location was nice and only a 7 minute drive to Chilston Park for a wedding. The staff were very accommodating when we had an issue with our room on the first night around 11:30pm and the staff were able to upgrade our room(we originally booked the small double). We weren't waiting long for them to resolve our issue and get confirmation we could still stay there even though they were busy. The upgraded room was spacious, had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom with hot tub with jets and good pressure overhead shower. There were complimentary robes provided and water and chocolates in the fridge.

Food in the restaurant was nice but slightly over priced for what it was. Although spacious room it didn't have much storage for clothes.

This well-run location is an absolute gem and I'd be delighted to be able to stay again sometime in the future. The rooms were well equipped and spacious, the dining and breakfast experience were exceptional and the bar was well stocked and staffed to boot! My partner and I were both pleasantly surprised by this upscale venue and felt very well looked after by the friendly and obliging staff throughout our stay. Thank you so much, this was a real treat and highlight of our holiday!

Lovely Breakfast and Staff, very welcoming, and my Husband and I had a really lovely stay for the weekend. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner here too, and the cocktails. The steak was lovely, would recommend! Liked the coffee machine in the room for a morning coffee and the option to use dressing gown and slippers if you wanted.

They said have a what’s app for any requests but didn’t find them to be very responsive. Breakfast was lovely but started at 9:30am and where I am pregnant I was getting hungry before this time but I wouldn’t let this put you off, there is a coop on the way to the venue before you get to the back road so I would just recommend grabbing some snacks here on route for incase you get peckish late at night or early in morning.

Loved the quirkiness of the decor in the restaurant and bar areas. Beautiful gardens and tranquil setting. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good, as was the breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and professional. Nice touches in the room e.g Ferrero Rocha chocolates in the mini fridge.

Our first room (14 Tatinger Mini) was very small for 2 people, which we hadn't realised when we booked. Ideal for a solo traveller. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, we had a problem the shower (trickle of water which went cold after 2 minutes!) so we were upgraded, for free, to a larger room (2) for our second night's stay, with a lovely shower!

I couldn't fault the food or the service. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed and shown to my room which, although quite snug, was very comfortable and well-appointed. Sarah and her staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Even when the pub was packed with a wedding they were happy to accommodate a lone traveller with food and refreshments.

As the location is very rural the mobile reception was a bit hit and miss as expected. The only thing I would suggest is an improvement to the wifi, especially in the rooms.

Amazing, even better than the pictures. Complete privacy in the hot tubs, no expenses spared when it comes to the decor of the suite. Stayed for 1 night in the LP Alexander Versace inspired suite. Spa bath, Jacuzzi, complimentary box of chocolates, immaculately tidy and well equipped room. Easy to get to via Uber through the country lanes as it has nice sign outside, all the locals are friendly and familiar with the place, more than happy to help if you did need directions. Breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious served to room just leave a Watsapp message! Superb. Beautiful steaks available at the reception inside the restaurant run by professional family, very warm and welcoming and entire place is discreet, private and a lovely getaway break out in the sticks. Definitely a hidden gem. Well worth experiencing.

Loved everything, water pressure in handheld shower head is slow but overhead shower compensated for it. Was only one night but next time i would love to stay longer.

We were in hot tub and one of the house keepers entered our room without knocking. Our key was still in the door but she was still able to open it. She gave us fererra Roche chocolates and a change of towels and apologised but when we got ready to go out and lock the door from the outside. The lock wouldn't close so we had to leave our items in the room unlocked. The good side of that was that no one went into our room. Everything was there when we got back. Everyone there was so friendly. Would highly recommend. Would even get married there.

Love how unique it was. Is in a beautiful destination, where you have your own access to your bedrooms with your own bathroom. The spa bath was lovely literally just like a jacuzzi. Staff were lovely and friendly.

The only thing I can think of was, there was a couple of hairs on our dinner table which didn't belong to us which isn't the most hygienic and on the side of one of our breakfast plate but wasn't on the food. I know it's easily done and could of been transferred from a cloth or something but does put you off a little bit. And the £100 deposit you have to pay when you get there still hasn't been put back into my account yet.

The Hospitality is great, the food is excellent, we had a meal the evening before and it was really good quality, we were upgraded and our room was very different with a Four Poster Bed, lovely sofa and bright colours, the only thing I would say is the carpet looked a bit tired, but was very clean and the extras, Chocolates, biscuits etc were very good , we would definitely stay again.

I booked to stay here for a party being held near by. It was perfectly located for this.

The room had all the necessary facilities and lovely toiletries included plus shower cap hair band nail file kit. The room itself was quite dusty and I noticed a cobweb hanging from the ceiling. Also a small amount of black mold spots in the shower. Overall I was happy but felt attention to cleaning could have been improved. Breakfast was very good. No cereal but a very wide choice of cooked options.
