From the time we arrived and to the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. The staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful. So helpful, friendly and very, very kind. Our breakfasts and evening meals were absolutely delicious. The messages on the tray were a lovely personal touch and everything is done with a smile. Other hotels are left in the shade in comparison and could learn a lot from the staff at this hotel. Thank you so much and we will definitely only stay at the Holiday Inn Ashford North in future. We wish all the staff a wonderful Christmas.

Great as a stopover over from the tunnel or ferry. Rooms were clean and comfortable, lovely pillows! Tea and coffee facilities in the room are good. The air conditioning works well in the room. Bathroom adequate, but shower is over the bath so be aware if mobility is an issue. Staff were lovely and greeted us warmly. An added bonus is the bar and restaurant on site - lovely meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast was lovely. We will use again!

There was a large coach party staying when we were there, so it was impossible to get in the restaurant for breakfast - we went back to our room for an hour to wait!

The room was large and the bathroom was very clean. the room had a double bed which was comfortable, a desk and chair and a sofa. The basic open wardrobe had 5 wooden hangers, iron and ironing board.

The hotel was very full and so check-in service was a bit slow. Bar meal choice was limited. The WiFi was open (not normally a problem) but my email and other websites gave a security warning and so I couldn't use email. This may just be a problem with the certificate for the router. Breakfast was only average and below my expectation. Hot food on hotplates is not ideal and choice or cereals could have a greater variety.

We have stayed in a few Holiday Inns but nothing quite like this one. My husband used to stay here a lot when he was working abroad and returned from the tunnel so he knew this place pretty well and I have to say I loved it. Convenient location for visiting Port Lympne Safari Park and the surrounding areas. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The hotel itself is superb, the breakfast is freshly cooked to order and there are other choices for breakfast too. The bar is great after a long day and serves great coffee from a proper machine! Big shout out to Howard the Manager for making us so welcome, we are returning later in the year and bringing family too its that good!

Staff helpful and very friendly. Food good, particularly breakfast. Room a decent size, clean and comfortable. Blond girl with platted hair, who did the bar and waitressing in restaurant on Saturday afternoon/evening was particularly friendly and helpful.

The force of the over bath shower meant that the shower curtain billowed out and the floor got soaked. A longer shower curtain would remedy that.

We were greeted by a lovely smiley reception who was friendly and welcoming able to answer the questions we had. The room was was spacious and beds comfortable. Ideal location for the channel tunnel. Parking was free for our stay. Breakfast was tasty and and staff extremely welcoming and helpful. What a difference a smiling face can make to your day/.

Shower curtain. Bath had a little bit of damage to it.

Staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. Room service was fabulous and on time. Room was pleasant, clean and a decent size for the two of us. The location for us was brilliant, live that's its away from the town but still only a short drive.

I have problems with my bones and found the bed very uncomfortable so didn't sleep much which was a shame. Doubt this would be a problem for most people though.

The checkin was easy and the room was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even accommodated my tardiness to breakfast.

The windows were only single pane which means that the room was a bit chilly and only compensated by the heating being on full whack. The windows also did not fully close. This is very bad for the environment.

A very comfortable stay. The hotel is clean and the food is good pub grub standard. It is good value for money. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The receptionist, David, went out of his way to help us but every other member of staff we encountered was really friendly and helpful.

Great location from the tunnel before we travelled up north. Lovely hotel, welcoming staff, very polite and genuine. Room was fab. Bed was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, very impressed.

Nothing other than the carpet in the stairwell was rather tired in comparison to the rest of thr hotel. Other than that tiny comment no gripes at all.
