Dinner was good, a bit pricey though. Rooms were comfortable and staff were friendly. Husband found the pillows too soft and didn't sleep his best both nights. Pool and gym was excellent. Kids had a great time - also the added advantage of being near to Dymchurch Beach was a huge plus with a teenager and 8 year old. Great cleanliness.

Breakfast could have been better. Not worth the price we paid.

Amazing location, only a 10min drive to the town centre. Pool facilities are brilliant. Recommend the steam room and sauna. With a stunning restaurant and a bar to separate the fine dining and pub atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone to go for food in both. It was mine and my partner’s 1 year anniversary and we went to the restaurant for dinner. Lovely and quiet, gorgeous food. The bar has some of the same food but with some different items still the same outstanding quality. Will definitely be returning

My only complaint was at breakfast with the bacon being a tad to fatty and the sausages being dry as they sit under the heat light for a while.

This hotel met all expectations. Free parking on site & dog friendly. We arrived late about 8pm with a grumpy, tired toddler but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were told we could take our toddler and dog into the bar area for some food and children under 5 eat free at dinner and breakfast which was amazing. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was equipped with toiletries and a mini bar with complimentary drinks, which was real surprise and much appreciated after a long drive. Great location, 30 minutes drive to the ferry. The staff met all expectations, proffesional, smart & always smiling. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

The hotel was very clean and spacious and staff were very friendly. The rooms were large very comfortable bed with one big pillow had tea and coffee facilities. The only thing was they didn’t have alternative milk ( I take my own wherever I go) where the tears were, but I’m sure if I’d asked Dad to give me a job or something. The bathroom has shower gel and hand wash in it there was no toilet brush which was a little bit annoying. The only downside in the room was that there was no plugs by the bed or in the seating area so we had to charge the phones away on the other side of the room. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but one of the guests told me that the food was lovely and if the breakfast was anything to go by it definitely was there was so much choice even a bit of a gluten-free variety, and if you wanted to across the car park at the back of the hotel, there was a path that led you to a Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer’s food hall which was literally a five minute walk away. The hotel was easy to find 11 minutes away from the Ashford shopping discount store thing and easy access to the main road in the motorways . I did this as a short day with my daughter. We didn’t use the spa facilities as all the appointments were booked so if you want to use them make sure you book an appointment when you book your hotel room. I will definitely be going back again with my husband this time .

Nice pool, spacious room.

Not enough staff in the restaurant. We booked to eat in resto, we arrived on time and were seated. We then waited for over. 15 mins as the only waitress we saw dealt with a stream of people coming into the resto. We asked if we could order but she said she’d just be a minute and carried on seating people and taking payments. So we gave up and went the the bar, also busy, but we were able to order the same dishes and get served quickly. I was very impressed by the quiet night I enjoyed given there was a large hen party and two touring group staying the night

The hotel is well presented with good facilities. Great location with good access to major road routes. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, polite and professional. The room was fine and the hospitality tray replenished every day which was good. Plenty of choice for breakfast, all self service. Plenty of car parking spaces.

My only disappointment was the positioning of the electrical sockets in the room. There were none near the bed and the ones on the other side were so close to the table or skirting board I couldn't plug my laptop in so had to resort to using the kettle socket which was tricky to get to as it is in cupboard space.

Staff were truly wonderful and couldn't do enough to help us. Everywhere was clean and well kept. If I could take the bed home I would because it's so comfortable!!! The dinner at the KWIBA event was excellent, served in a timely manner and piping hot. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! As someone with dietary needs, the fact it was all catered for with no issue makes a huge difference to my experience, thank you so much!!! I'd have happily paid double what I did for the room because it was exceptional. Thank you also for making my husband's Assistance Dog so welcome - we have had issues in the past with hotels refusing entry.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe an extra grab rail to get in and out of the bath would have been useful as I'm disabled but it was manageable.

The location is good for an overnight stay prior to an early channel crossing by Eurotunnel or Le Shuttle. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the reception staff members are very helpful; especially Natasha. The food was tasty.

The plug sockets in the room were positioned so close to the table surface as to make it impossible for me to use my charger in them. An extension cable was provided but the even the wires from the plug on that were stressed due to the socket’s position. The bar had run out of beer, which seemed odd for a Friday evening.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throught my stay including reception staff, maintenance, breakfast staff and gym/spa staff. I had an issue in my room with the kettle and TV but it was quickly resolved. There was plenty of parking (free of charge), even though there was a large event going on when we arrived. We enjoyed use of the bar and the mushroom tortellini was lovely.

It is a long walk to the rooms on the upper floors with many fire doors which are awkward and heavy to open, especially when you have bags/suitcases.

The interior design of the entire hotel was beautiful. Staff were kind and accommodating and made efforts to make our stay special for my boyfriends birthday by giving us a voucher for free drinks at the bar and by giving us a complimentary dessert with a birthday message in the restaurant. The food was delicious and well worth the price in the horizon restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable.

I think as a deluxe king room, it maybe could have had a mini fridge however that’s not completely necessary. Also for how busy the pool area was, it would have been nice if there were more loungers available but with the space I’m not sure how you would fit more in
