Dinner was good, a bit pricey though. Rooms were comfortable and staff were friendly. Husband found the pillows too soft and didn't sleep his best both nights. Pool and gym was excellent. Kids had a great time - also the added advantage of being near to Dymchurch Beach was a huge plus with a teenager and 8 year old. Great cleanliness.

Breakfast could have been better. Not worth the price we paid.

Pool, sauna, steam room

The seemingly total management lethargy. Example is the jacuzzi. Looks good in the brochures and web pictures. But it's not working and has been out of action for some time. Staff have no one has a clue when or even if a repair is going to happen. Someone suggested that a new one might be planned. I would not have booked the rooms had I known. We both have bad backs and the jacuzzi gives some releif to the pain. The visit kent book in the room still claims the Eurostar service runs from Ashford. The service been closed for years. Get a grip someone please.

Amazing location, only a 10min drive to the town centre. Pool facilities are brilliant. Recommend the steam room and sauna. With a stunning restaurant and a bar to separate the fine dining and pub atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone to go for food in both. It was mine and my partner’s 1 year anniversary and we went to the restaurant for dinner. Lovely and quiet, gorgeous food. The bar has some of the same food but with some different items still the same outstanding quality. Will definitely be returning

My only complaint was at breakfast with the bacon being a tad to fatty and the sausages being dry as they sit under the heat light for a while.

The staff were all amazing ,accommodating all my requests. Natasha the Reception Manager is a real star who did everything possible to make my stay not only enjoyable but extremely comfortable. She made sure that I was given a lovely furnished room on the ground floor with a bath. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep each night Breakfast was lovely with a huge choice. The Manager at Breakfast deserves a mention as he went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed when I became ill ensuring that that my cooked breakfast was sent to my room ,even making my toast and filter coffee for me himself. I ate in the restaurant which had a good choice and was reasonable priced. The food was tastefully prepared The spa facilities were excellent and it was a shame that the Jacuzzi was out of action awaiting spare parts All in all I had a wonderful 4 day stay at the hotel and would recommend to others and would return again

We recently booked a two week holiday back to the UK and stayed at the Ashford International Hotel on arrival and again for 4 days before returning home to Germany. The hotel is ideally situated for the Dover ferry port (half an hour's drive away) and the Channel Tunnel. The hotel also offers free parking. Our room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. We had a lovely relaxing time and very much enjoyed using the health club facilities during our stay. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Receptionist Julie was particularly helpful on arrival, which we very much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice and you could order continental meat and cheese plates from the kitchen as well. The waiting staff were always friendly and helpful. In the evenings I sometimes chose a kids fish and chips for supper and the portion was very generous in size, freshy prepared and very good value for money. We will certainly return in the future and will recommend the hotel to our family and friends.

The room was lovely, clean spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was well run and plentiful. It's very tasty. We took our little dog, and the hotel have thought of everything to make both us and the dog happy . All explained to us and a goody bag provided for her. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, Julie and Natasha, on the reception were both amazing and so lovely. The lady that was cleaning the public areas was also really friendly and so nice. All were professional but went the extra mile, with smiles and care.

There was nothing I disliked only having to leave to come home.!

The hotel was modern and clean. The room was spacious, air conditioned, and clean. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and a kettle were provided. The rooms were quiet as was the hallway. There was plenty of parking. Breakfast was good. Overall a good value for money. Also was close to a Sainsbury superstore, great for shopping and petrol.

The hotel hosted meetings and other small events during the day. The breakfast was good, but as the week went on some of the selections were minimal, especially on Friday: things were back to standard on Saturday morning.

Wonderful Stay – Great Staff Made It Extra Special! We had a lovely stay and were especially grateful to Michelle, who made our visit extra special by naming us “Guests of the Day”! She really went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and enjoyed our time. Tyler at the bar was also fantastic — friendly and attentive — and Sophia, the restaurant manager, was amazing. We did encounter a few issues during our meal, and although we’ve decided we likely wouldn’t dine in the restaurant again on our next visit, Sophia handled everything swiftly and professionally, which we really appreciated. The beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Overall, a very enjoyable stay — we would definitely return. Thank you to the team for making it memorable!

Location a bit secluded

Very convenient for an overnight stay before an early morning Eurotunnel crossing. Good size rooms. Can‘t comment on breakfast or dinner as we didn’t have those. Nice touch was that my dog was given a goody bag.

The car park had one electric car charging point which was only accessible by using an app which I wasn‘t able to download. The option to pay by card wasn’t working. Later in the evening ( having driven to charge my car ) I found that the carpark also had chargers with which you could use your own cables. Unfortunately, apart from one space, all the other spaces where filled by non electric cars! Also, just like previous reviews, attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the corridors. There were dirty dishes and drinking vessels in various places along the corridor to our room.

This hotel met all expectations. Free parking on site & dog friendly. We arrived late about 8pm with a grumpy, tired toddler but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were told we could take our toddler and dog into the bar area for some food and children under 5 eat free at dinner and breakfast which was amazing. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was equipped with toiletries and a mini bar with complimentary drinks, which was real surprise and much appreciated after a long drive. Great location, 30 minutes drive to the ferry. The staff met all expectations, proffesional, smart & always smiling. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

We loved it all.
