The location is excellent just a short walk to picturesque village and great stop for walking the North Downs Way, also train station is really close and Canterbury two stops away. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful, host served a good breakfast. Small reception area is not always manned, best to inform this B&B of arrival time beforehand. Room was clean and comfortable.

Tea/coffee facility could have been topped up as we had booked in advance. The water temperature in shower was on the cool side.

Hotel was dated but we needed an overnight before departing for France on the ferry first thing so for one night it was fine,Room was clean and breakfast was edible

I loved my room, I was upgraded to a room at the back of the property, it was spacious and airy with a large en-suite bathroom. The host, Anthony was friendly and warm and breakfast was good. I thought my stay was great value for money.

The stairs up from reception to the rooms were steep and narrow. This wasn’t an issue for me but could be for someone less mobile.

I was on the Pilgrim way from Winchester to Canterbury an thus the "The Old Alma Inn" was an ideal overnight-stop for me in Chilham, easy to find on the way, but on a very busy traffic road. But during the night there was not much traffic and due to the fact that I got a nice room towards the back-garden, it was quiet and I slept well. Anthony made a delicious and very tasty English breakfast. Brian made a very nice and friendly welcoming at my arrival and introduced me to the house. So did Anthony the other morning when he made and served a tasty breakfast.

Everything was fine an in fact there is nothing real negativ to tell about. The only disappointing thing is that the house is directly located at a busy street and it is difficult and dangerous to traverse to road but the pedestrian path is on the other side ... so be careful when you cross over !

Our room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The pictures on here do not do the b&b justice. The breakfast was good and did what it needed to do. The hosts were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Water pressure for the shower wasn’t the best but it worked and did the job

Sarah and Tony were great hosts, The property was really clean and had a lovely fresh fragrant scent on entering the property. Breakfast was yummy and set us up for the day. Sarah took the time to recommend places where we could get a nice evening meal which was very kind. The property is an old building and decorated to compliment which we liked, you could imagine in years gone by stage coaches turning up on route to London.

The room was a little cramped but it was expected considering the age of the property.

The rooms were immaculately clean and very spacious. Large clean bathroom also. The staff were lovely and friendly. I made a mix up with timings, yet they were more than happy to stay up waiting for me and my baby. I stayed with my 6 month old baby, and the gentleman who owns the place was so kind with him and made sure to help us back to the car. The breakfast was a good portion, freshly made and locally sourced, and tasted amazing. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Owners Sarah and Tony were very accomodating. Breakfast was amazing and couldn't of wanted anything else.

Shower was not very powerful but that was mentioned and explained and it was still useable.

Really clean, super comfy bed, hot shower and all in a relaxing and tastefully decorated room. Check in / out easy and plenty of free parking.

1 nights stay. Nice quiet room. Good breakfast and went the extra mile for our stay. Easy for transport as not far from train station.
