The room was large and very comfortable

The staff were inattentive especially in the restaurant despite it not being busy. Also, relatively early in the evening and with many guests in the restaurant the staff started to clear unused table and reset for breakfast which was noisy and disrespectful to guests.

I liked my room in the Mews

I was disappointed that swimming wasn't included in the price of my room. I wanted a short swim before dinner but sadly I had to leave at 6:30 the next morning so couldn't swim then. I was going to be charged £15 which was ridiculous for half an hour. The shower floor was very slippery with no rails to hold onto.

Easwell Manor is a beautiful picturesque place, everything visually is amazing. Room was lovely and big. Majority of Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Only negative I have was at our evening meal in the hotel restaurant, our food was delicious and came out promptly, but once my wife and I had finished we were left for 28min on our table without it being cleared,offered another drink or our dessert menu, all of which we wanted. I ended up having get up and go and speak to a male member of the restaurant team who seemed upset that I was highlighting this and just pointed to the tables saying they're quite busy. I can understand that they were busy, but on 3 occasions during that 28min we saw 3 staff having a chat amongst themselves for a few minutes. We returned to our room informing reception without anymore drinks or dessert.

The location was great had wonderful views.

Some of the facilities were not avaliable and we wasn't notified before we arrived. Some of the staff didn't seem to be as friendly towards us or as helpful. When we we went for breakfast we were told what we could have and was told to find a table. But everyone else was taken to a table it was as if because we had booked with booking .com we were treated differently to others that had booked directly with Eastwell manor. Just something we noticed.

We found the room the be cozy and near the main house. The bar and buildings were beautiful. The grounds were stunning it was so peaceful and calming. We were able to choose a table at breakfast next to the window which was really lovely. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

We booked through booking.com where it was not clear that we wouldn't be able to to use the pool or spa at our leisure therefore due to other commitments this meant we were unable to use at all so we have had a lovely stay but didn't even see the spa.

Dinner is excellent. Breakfast has a great selection. The views and manor is as great as you'd expect.

Deluxe double room: the dust behind the bed has probably been there for atleast 3 years if not longer. That horribly unacceptable. The pillows need replacing too. The mattress was too soft for my liking. So it isn't for people that favour medium to firm beds.

Beautiful building with stunning grounds. Spa really lovely, however we were disappointed that for the price we paid to stay at the hotel we were expected to pay extra on arrival to use the spa facilities. Nowhere in any booking documentation did it mention that we would have an additional cost to pay. We have stayed at other hotels which were just as nice and the spa facilities were included in the cost.

Very disappointed that the hotel is called a "spa hotel" however on arrival we were expected to pay an additional £15 per person per visit to the spa, just to use the facilities. For the price we paid to stay at the hotel we would have expected this to have been included. Also, the room was incredibly hot - a fan was provided but unfortunately there were no suitable plug sockets to be able to use it where we needed it.

We had a lovely stay here, location is great and the gardens are beautiful. Love the vibe of the whole building although I can see how it might not be to everyone’s taste. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Bed was comfy and was great to have a seperate living room area from the bedroom!

We didn’t have any water in the shower, a drizzle at best. Was offered a different room because of this but told that it would be a downgrade from the one we was in so we didn’t bother. The shower head was not clean, and neither were the shower walls. Rest of the room was great (apart from dust in some areas eg on the lamps). Would’ve liked more milk and sugar available as I had to use all of them on one tea, so couldn’t have another in the morning. Also, the book on the coffee table was dated march, so wasn’t very helpful to what’s going on in august😅

The cleanliness for the room was really bad, the toilet had all brown scale, the carpet was ripped, the bedroom windows has smashed in places and we’re put back together with sellotape. There were loud drunk people I could hear from my room at 1am.
