Everything. Booked as non-refundable. My fiancee became ill and had to cancel. Called facility and they changed reservations to a day we could again travel. Nida, front desk person very welcoming and very pleasant to talk with while registering. Facility, room and grounds in great shape and very clean. Room and bed very comfortable. When back in this area visiting family, we will be staying here. By the way, my name is Bob. For some reason this website made me lost as Anonymous. If not, it would not post. Seems that Booking.com needs to fix something,but a great vehicle for travel

I liked the turning pancake griddle that made three small pancakes.

The straight layout was ill suited for breakfast crowds beyond a few people. Queues formed too easily. You might try spacing out food clusters and appliances so more people can reach the food at the same time. Consider a couple options: 1) Put the food and appliances along a long island counter in the dining room, and place them in a way that people can serve themselves from either side of the food island. Or 2) use a convex U-shaped food layout where your staff can resupply the food and service the appliances from inside the U, out of the path of your customers.

The room was quite comfortable, clean, and the staff was friendly. I'm surprised the hotel isn't rated higher. I've travelled extensively, often stay in $300+ rooms, and took a risk on this while passing through PA one night. It was every bit as good as much higher priced hotels.

The breakfast is typical cheap hotel fare. You save so much on the room here, treat yourself to one of the good diners in downtown Carlisle.

Location and the staff was very friendly. They made you feel like you were family! Housekeeping kept up with cleaning. We did the breakfast our last day and the scrambled eggs and sausage links were very good. There was a variety of choices for breakfast.

There were electrical outlets on the lamp and stand between the beds that didn’t work. Also, the lighting was poor in that we had to use our cell phone flashlight. The room needs better lighting. Also, breakfast time should be extended to 10 AM. Some of us are not early risers.

Booking.com actually messed up our reservation and the info they transferred to the hotel was for an accessible room and a room with one bed. These were not accurate. Nida at the front desk was professional and competent. She quickly and efficiently corrected the error and demonstrated a superior level of customer service in the process. It made us want to never book with Booking.com again and to always reserve at Best Western. We continue to have positive experiences staying at Best Western hotel - it seems they have redesigned themselves in every way and are succeeding in providing a positive guest experience.

Booking.com messed up the room accommodations we needed.

The lady in the evening was so nice..I had a problem with bookings and they wanted to lie and said they would not help me,she said that thier facilty was more than happy to help and they did. I definitely will just book through best western next time without a 3rd party.

Very big room .All re-done and decorated in good taste. Good location.

The room was very recently re-decorated (probably even the same day) Very strong smell of glue,coming from the new carpets. I had an allergic reaction and asked for a change of the room ,but everything was full booked, so we needed to leave. We were not charged - wich is normal -not their fault (maybe they should have ventilated ) - and not ours. The young woman from the reception was nice and helpful with all the situation).

Close to major highways, but set back enough where it is very quiet. The beds are super comfortable. The staff is very friendly. After having an equally great experience last year, we have stayed here three more times since then and will continue to do so.

Might seem silly but, the shower curtain refused to close on the shower head side, so the floor was always getting a lot of water, no matter what I did to try and keep it closed

I wouldnt say there was anything I didn't like. Just wished there was an area for kids. Having a 3 year old cooped up for a few days isn't great. But thats a me thing, not a best western thing.
