Location and view was outstanding. Guy who helped with luggage was a real gem.

We hired a transfer vehicle which we knew was more expensive than elsewhere but as it was a long journey wanted a decent sedan with air con. The morning came and the vehicle was real poor and dirty and didn’t even have seatbelts. After some push back from us refusing to accept it they sent a second vehicle which we reluctantly accepted as we were now an hour late leaving for a 8 hour journey. We were dissatisfied that the manager didn’t keep his promise of a “really nice sedan vehicle with air-con” especially when we had paid approx 1500 IR more than we were quoted elsewhere.

We stayed in one of the Honeymoon Suites and boy was it worth it. Spectacular views over Shimla and the sunset. Very comfortable room with a huge round bed! All facilities were good. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Food was good at breakfast and we also at in one night. Only 15 min walk from The Ridge but away from the bustle & crowds. Really I cannot recommend this place strongly enough!

There is a steep 75 metre pathway from the road to the hotel entrance - no problem for us (and we are over 60!) but it might be an issue for some.

The hotel staff were excellent as was the food. Room was clean and comfortable with a large window view of the valley.

No warning that taxi could not take Us all the way to the hotel because the last 200m to hotel is up a steep Private road. So we got dropped off by the Marina hotel with no idea where to go, thankfully the taxi driver was helpful but had little English to fully explain. We therefore had to walk up a steep road carrying our luggage, the last bit to hotel was unlit and having building works carried out and elicited some unhappy words. It seems they will send a porter to help but it needs to be made clear what one needs to do.

The View from the Honeymoon Suite was outstanding. The circular bed was cosy and comfortable. The suite was clean and spacious. Room was cleaned and fresh linen every day. Blanket and heater for chilly evenings. Complementary toiletries supplied. The staff, especially the catering staff, could not have done more for us. They were extremely professional, always adopted a pleasant persona. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend The Honeymoon Inn to anyone. Excellent staff service. Great breakfasts. Wonderful location close to the main town. Lovely views from all round the property so you really appreciate that you are in Shimla in the hills.

Access is hard. It would be good if people coming with their own cars have arrangements made for them in advance. We had no idea how complicated it would be! We were very grateful the hotel accommodated our parking.

The stay was quite comfortable. The room is spacious and clean. The view from the room is quite stunning. The staff were really helpful. Special mention to Mr. Pawan in the restaurant who went the extra mile to make us feel very welcome. Had a very pleasant stay in Shimla thanks to the Honeymoon Inn.

Amazing hotel with large rooms, beautiful service and comfy beds with a great view. Restaurant serves delicious food and breakfast is always served fresh with different options each day

Just be warned that it is quite a steep walk up to the hotel.

Very comfortable room with wonderful views of the mountains. Very good buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. A slightly steep incline to the hotel, but it's perfectly manageable and it is only a short walk to The Mall.

A fridge in the room would have been good.

I had such a wonderful stay here, the people working made me feel very welcome and were a highlight of my experience. The hotel is comfortable, clean and charming and is well located near to the Ridge, but far enough away to be truly peaceful. The views are exceptional. Thoroughly recommend a stay here!

I am fan of Honeymoon Inn since last 23 Years.I visited Honeymoon Inn Mussorrie in 2000 & 2021.I love hospitality of honeymoon staff and they are very cooperative and helpful In shimla Honeymmon it was my 3rd trip in honeymoon inn property I am extremely happy with honeymoon staff and facaility
