Want to disconnect from the world? I can’t think of many better places than el Amparo. The wonderful team of Jodie, Nick, Stewart, Jo & Delia were so welcoming and provided lovely, warm hospitality throughout our 3 day stay. But not intrusively as we had the most peaceful and serene time in this stunning location The rolling hills, glistening pool and comfy facilities including squashy beds round the pool , Luxury showers and paired back Andalusian furnishings in the gorgeous rooms added to our stay. highlights include Stewart’s cooking, and the twice daily herd of goats passing by. We will be back again. !

We had an amazing time staying at El Amparo for a long weekend during a friends wedding in a nearby town. As soon as we (myself, my husband and our friend) arrived Jodie gave us a really warm welcome. The place is stunning, situated in rolling olive groves, spotlessly clean and in beautiful condition. Each room is unique, very spacious and has all that you need (including lots of hangers!) and aircon etc. The pool is fabulous and very peaceful. The in house chef Stuart created wonderful breakfasts using local ingredients (homemade lemon cake and marmalade!) and also can arrange a courtyard dinner for guests, which we did which was multi course fine dining style and wonderful. All in all our trip hugely exceeded expectations and we will certainly be back. Thank you so much Jodie and team!

Honestly nothing really - the only thing I'd say is you do need a car for the location as its in the countryside and no taxis etc. so just be aware of that.

El Amparo is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering a tranquil haven where you can simply “hide away” and rejuvenate.

Everything was more than fabulous!!! Couldn’t fault anything. The service was so personal. Simon the chef is not only talented but a really nice guy. Jody the owner is very friendly and ensures you have a great stay. The room was gorgeous and the pool is amazing. Everything so clean. And no expense spared, everything was top quality from the bed linen, the furniture, and from the ingredients for breakfast and dinner to the beds around the pool. It was a real treat, thank you. We will defo return in the near future.

Al Amparo was just amazing! The backdrop was beautiful and the hotel itself lived up to it. Meeting Jodie was like meeting an old friend. She and the staff at Al Amparo were so very welcoming and tended to our every need. The food was both homely and extraordinary. We ate there both nights and were really pleased with our decision. The rooms were clean and really functional. Al Amparo was a great stay for me and my young family (my two year old did not want to leave!) but I would equally go back with just my wife or even on my own (if she let me!). Can’t wait to go back next year.

We LOVED everything about this place ! The location is stunning - surrounded by olive farms and an incredible open landscape. The casa itself is a tasteful , opulent and traditional Spanish styled home. The layout is delightful, pool area is brilliant along with our favourite- day bed ! Our room was lovely - sumptuous super king bed ,under i floor cooling and plush bathroom! The owners are fun, welcoming and clearly have an eye for quality and style ! Staff are really nice - overall it’s an absolutely fantastic experience and only thing we regret is not having booked for a few days! We’ll be back !

Zero improvements at all

The owners were so friendly. It made us feel at home straight away and shared great informations about the area. The cook was super nice guy and accommodated us with custom vegetarian dishes just for us. The view was breathtaking. We'll be back for sure !

El Amparo Spanish Farmhouse B&B is a hidden treasure in the heart of Andalucia. Its remote location, enveloped in nature's beauty, offers a peaceful escape. The warmth of the owners and staff, coupled with exceptional food prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, makes it an unforgettable retreat. If you're in search of tranquility and a taste of Andalucia's rural charm, El Amparo is the place to be. We left with our hearts full and our spirits rejuvenated.

Everything was just perfect. The view, the pool, the silence, the privacy. The dinner was fabulous and the starts at night was magic!

One little remark was that we did not have any shampoo and conditioner in the room. Add some nice quality products and it is 5*

This place is just exceptionally beautiful. Everything about is just piece, tranquillity and hospitality. The views are lovely, the rooms are beautifully decorated and all amenities you can wish for is available. The food is great and the hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back, very soon.
